But very charming on the other hand. I live in Vienna and this tour is eye-opening. Afterwards I saw the city from a different perspective and I was recognizing more details in the streets. I recommend it to everyone who wants to explore Vienna in a more unconventionall way.
I do recommend it to everyone who would like to "look out of the frame". I had a great time and it was nice to meet new people.
Great fun, if you want to see something different and special. You will get some information and insight in to the city of Vienna that you cannot read in some other tour guides.
—Took an abbreviated version this tour as a part of the International Feature Conference (IFC) 2016.
—The guide, Eugene, was knowledgeable and entertaining. He shared a wealth of insightful information.
—After seeing a site, participants were asked if it was ugly or not? Good way to engage the crowd.
—It was nice to get a way from the city center a bit and explore other parts of the city.
—The walking and riding the subway allowed participants to get to know each other.
Great idea! To just sit down and talk to a "stranger" who quickly becomes a most interesting partner in an inspiring dialogue. Learned a lot about her - and myself :-)
Highly recommendable!
The vienna coffeehouse conversations in April were an exciting evening with a pretty large group of scientists. Sitting with a question menu and immadetely talking with a Person you have never met, and which you will never see again is quite an interesting experience. Within two hours you get to know more about a persons live then you probably know about from some friends.
