Motel22 is really good. Location is very nice and neighborhood is totally calm, so your sleep will go perfect. Even more after a day walking through the beautiful city of Vienna. Our room was in the ground floor with door to access the garden where is possible to get breakfast! Motel22 is 10km from downtown, no more 30min by bus+metro. Free parking which is great when it comes to Vienna.

This is a quite place, not far from Donaustadt, very clean with all you need. You would appreciate the yard inside where you can relax, closed parking inside for free. Problem was breakfast which was not organized well. Recommend for someone who comes to Vienna on low budget and does not want be inside the rush downtown.

It's an, overall, very nice place. Staff are very friendly & helpful. They have a very nice garden in the middle of the property. You have a vending machine & a coffee machine on the premises. A very nice bakery, that offers good coffee, right across the street. A bus station, as soon as you go out, which can be really convenient.
Beds have the issue that is everywhere I've ever stayed at in Vienna, they're always 2 joined beds, with small blankets, and that is a problem for someone who's used to king beds & blankets!

Room tip: Ground floor rooms don't have the issue of the "dach", i.e. more space, easier movement, easier access to the garden, which is a huge plus!

Basic but very clean and organised accommodation. Bed has a memory foam mattress which we found uncomfortable on the first night but got used to it after. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Easy and cheap bus and underground services into the city. Takes about 25 minutes and costs 2.20 euro each! Bakery across the road very friendly and does lovely pastries. Local restaurant next door very Austrian and caters for the local people but very friendly. Speak limited English but if you use a bit of German and sign language you get there! Meals at a good price and a glass of wine for 2.50 euro (the same glass being 5.50 euro in the city centre). Very quiet location, except at 7am and 7pm when the church bells toll! Wifi a bit hit and miss. On first afternoon we walked down the road and found a place to eat where they freshly prepared schnitzel with salad (does takeaway too) . Again very friendly and food was good. For the 2 - 3 days we were there it was okay for travelling into central Vienna and eating locally but would have struggled if it had been for longer than that. No information in rooms about where to eat or drink locally, or where local shops were which would have been useful. Complimentary tea and coffee and milk would have been good to go with the complimentary biscuits. Wanted to use the iron whilst there but on both occasions when I went to reception to ask for one was told that it was already "out". Suggest you take a travel iron. All in all a good place for a short break.

Stayed there at the beginning and at the end of our bicycle trip from Vienna to Amsterdam. The staff was very nice, the place super clean and everything was just perfect. We had nice breakfasts across the street and the bus/UBahn connection to downtown Vienna and back was very convenient. The whole neighbourhood is actually pretty nice to walk around in the evening and maybe have a bite to eat or a glass of wine in the 'Heurigen" nearby. For us it was a relaxing feel-good place.
