we visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor. We booked a table via email and arrived to a full restaurant. We did a six course tasting menu which was fantastic and included a wide range of locally sourced dishes. What made this restaurant special was the staff. They were knowledgable and friendly and recommended a great wine to match the food. We spent a fantastic evening with great food in a fantastic restaurant. Not to be missed

We had a very nice six course meal with wine. All the food was well prepared and interesting. The evening was partly spoiled as the restaurant had overbooked and so had to move tables around in the middle of our meal. This resulted in some items falling off the table and was a bit stressful.
I mainly felt sorry for the one waiter who had to deal with an overfull restaurant – about 13 tables. I think the whole restaurant was run by just three people.
My only other complaint is that the four different wines we were served were all served in the same glass! This is not what you normally get with a wine pairing menu. I suspect they were running low on glasses in the kitchen.

Very good choice for a great combination of good food, wines and service in both German and English. The tasting menu was surprising and left a big nice smile on our faces and our taste buds :)

The restaurant is located in a small place where the tables are close to each other. Good place for smaller parties.

We had a six course meal with recommended wines. Good service with waitress not hanging over the shoulder all the time. Excellent explained what each dish are made of.

Overall food tastes was balanced and mild. Pure tastes, good components and compositions. Vegetables tasted as good and are the stars of the dishes. The meat and fish was okey.

Bread where a boring and not the quality I would expect in this type of restaurant. But we all got filled enough with food, even if each course are like a small mouthful. The courses between us was slightly different in sizes and visual.

The wines matched good to the food.

Value of money is good, but would maybe hit full score with good bread, butter and better visual presentations of the dishes.
