“very nice hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

It was our 25th wedding anniversary, and we wanted to stay in a 5-star hotel that wasn't going to make a big dent in our bank account. We booked Kempinski because they had a promotion for $200/night. A steal for a brand new 5-star hotel in Vienna. I told the hotel it was our 25th anniversary, and Jennifer/ guest relations, upgraded us to a suite!! what a nice gesture!
The room was very nice, bed was super comfortable. The staffs have the best attitude, so eager to please the guests. I will stay here again. Highly recommended!

I stayed in this newly opened hotel on a weekend in May 2013. We arrived late Friday night by Taxi and as you expect it from a 5 * star Hotel the check in was smoothly and quick even at late hours.
Once up in the room our luggage was already there we got introduced to this magnificent two room suite. Closets you can walk in, two rooms, a huge bathroom, a shower state of the art with touch screen - never seen so much high tech in a hotel room. An Ipad provided by the hotel with which you can even order the room service. With all this tools you might think it might be to nerdy trust me it isn't. The person in charge of the interior was worth his / her money. The hotel is very classic but at the same time you get two 46 inch screens in your room. The room service menu is rich you don't know what to get btw: the Tartar and Hansen Club Sandwich are great.
You can ask any employee at the hotel they all know about the history of the palais. The rooms are so quite you don't hear anything - it's so quite you think you are alone in this place. Facing the street no problem there are two separate windows double sealed. Die Küche - the name of the place you eat breakfast offeres around 8 different juices you can mix from ( try Orange Pear and Apple.) all kind of meats cheeses a cereals selection you dream of and a chef preparing your scrambled eggs make sure you won't forget this breakfast experience so fast. I'm sure everybody is happy there. There are several bars and a smoking lounge at your disposal. The SPA looks like we went for a quick swim. There is also a gym.
We were told to be the 5th guest in room 235 - everything was new. This Hotel is a true jewel and i recommend it to anybody going to visit Vienna. Thanks to the Hotel for a this Weekend.

Room Tip: 235 is a corner suite worth the extra money.

This was our first trip to Vienna. This hotel is in a very good location. We were at a conference and the facilities are excellent and the hotel itself is fabulous. It's really beautiful inside. The reception staff were very welcoming - the waiters were charming and professional and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in a hotel, I would recommend this hotel to travellers looking for somewhere special and luxurious to stay in Vienna. Only gripe , I was really surprised At the prices in the spa. Very expensive.

Brand new hotel (opened last March), one can still smell the newness.
What an outstanding service my partner and I received during our 3-day stay.
Reservation was for a Grand Deluxe Room and luckily we were upgrade to a Palais Suite - what else can one ask?
All the controls are digital: air conditioning, lights, water on the bath and shower – you don’t need to step out of your bed if you do not want. There is an iPad in every suite so one can order room service or browse the net. WiFi was free but a bit slow.
The buffet breakfast at Die Kuche restaurant is excellent and it would be difficult not find something to every taste.
We had dinner at the newly opened Edvard and food was delicious. Service was very attentive and the wine list is on an iPad too.
The spa is a bit compact but has all the amenities necessary.
The bars are very nice, though the sofas and armchairs on the lobby bar are not very comfortable to be seating for long time.
From the front desk team, to the porters and room service, everybody was so friendly and made us feel extremely welcome and cared for; maybe because the hotel is new, staff is not very confident but helpful at all times.
We had a wonderful time and felt like we were staying with friends rather than at a hotel.

What an amazing place! Absolutely breathtaking... After visiting Prague with my family (stayed in beautiful Hotel Paris) my wife picked this hotel and it was also very nice. Nice food, friendly and smiley staff, big rooms and just the whole atmosphere was great. You get what you pay for, even more I would say. Thanks guys!

I have visited several Kempinski hotels but here have the best breakfast. The slices of salami and hams are very weak and after very delicious. They offer a lot of fresh juice, home made cakes, cheeses and Pol Roger champagne. The hotel room is very modern and I do not like it. You can smelt on the halls that is new opened. The hotel is very good situated near everywhere.
