This small restaurant at vienna some market is a hidden gem. Few tables share the attention of the friendly staff and sophisticated chef. If you don't know how to choose just also for help. They will do everything for you, including choosing the wine.

We were invited here for a friend's birthday party dinner and couldn't thank her enough afterwards. The place is gorgeous, a tiny restaurant on the busy Naschmarkt with just a handful of tables but with the most amazing fish and seafood plates and a romantic atmosphere (ok, this may be biased, we were here on a lovely quiet snowy evening...).
Tuna fish tartar, lobster soup, scallops, plate of fish and seafood and a chocolate pudding cake to top it of. Need I say more? Go and enjoy and probably book in advance as it really is a small venue.

Went there twice, for lunch when we first found it, and the next day for an early dinner (we were in Vienna just before Christmas and many restaurants were booked solid). It's a tiny place (five two-person tables as I recall) so you may want to book for peak times unless you are just drifting by. The fish is fresh and excellent and the wine prices very reasonable. Thoroughly recommend for a getaway from the heavier aspects of viennese cuisine, though I am sure you could stage a blow out if you wanted to. Lobster soup excellent, as were the scallops.

We stopped by this restaurant at lunch time but as we were looking for something a little lighter decided to book it for dinner as the menu looked pretty good. The food far outweighed our expectations including a tuna entree and mains consisting of scallops with a truffle sauce and shrimp in a Thai red curry. The food was superb and the staff very friendly and they also catered for the English speaker. Whilst not the cheapest, we thought it was well worth it given that we both had two drinks, shared entree and a main each. We would definitely eat there again if we were in town. A really nice night out for a couple or those that like a little more from their food other then satisfying their hunger.
