Once in a while one gets pleasantly surprised by the splendor and courteousness of an establishment that one, by chance, encounters.
So too with Harry's Time in Vienna. As a late arrival (past 22:00u) staff looked a bit surprised that I asked for a table for one person. But it was fine and I got a nice spot on the out door terrace (weather was perfect). Soon it dawned on me why I was first greeted with some surprise as there was no a-la-carte here, I could choose between 5, 7, or ad libitum courses, with accompanying wines, meaning I would be spending some time here, by myself, late in the evening.
It became a wonderful evening. The service was excellent, the wines perfect and the all Austrian food really good. I had a waitress write down (for this review) what had been served this evening, as I wanted to give you an impression of what they are capable of making. Problem is that I can't really read the handwriting that well, so I include it as pictures for you.
If you have the time, and want to experience some nice (Austrian) cooking and some very nice service, give this place a chance. You won't be disappointed.
