“Nice architecture with daily organ concert - "No Tourism, Only Prayers"”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

When you enter St.Peter Church, you will find a sign that "no tourism, only prayers".
Tourists are only allowed to stand up on the left to view the architecture of the church, there is no entry fee, and its place is few steps from Stephanslpatz U-Bahn station.
If you will not pray, you need only 10 mins to visit this church.
Tip: They have open organ concerts everyday at 3 PM, enjoy it.

“Beautiful church - open organ concerts during the week”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

This is a very beautiful church.
Significantly smaller than St Stephens, but thus also less overbearing.
There is no fee for entry, and it also hosts open organ concerts (at 15:00PM weekdays if I remember correctly - information available on church), to collect donations for renovating organ.
I visited in time to hear such a concert which was a most enjoyable experience. Music gave an additional atmosphere, completing the viewing of the internal decorations.
Organ concert nice option for hearing some music in a beautiful location.

“Beautiful Church”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

Definitely one of the sights to see in Vienna if you like beautiful architecture and decoration. The paintings on the ceilings are excellent and very detailed. The detailed carvings on the outside are also well worth looking at.

“Easy to find, spectacular place”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

You may be "cathedral'd out" if you are touring in Austria but, if you are up for one more, this cathedral is worth the time and effort. We were staying mere blocks away, and passed it on our walks almost every day but my first reaction upon entering was - "Why didn't we come here sooner." Much more intimate than St Stephen's and amazingly beautiful. Well worth the time to find and visit.
