Great highlight of a beautiful city! Plan on spending at least a couple of hours. Lots of wonderful Klimt displays.

Worths visit if you know artist's point of view. Otherwise you get millions of people, billions of photo camera "clicks" and condolence to people, who live there.

Took a quick and easy trip on the tram to reach there, i was just amused by the building and the surroundings areas as well. You also have few shops in case you wanna buy a souvenir.

Hunderwasser, the architect of the house and many other buildings, factories, even resorts in Austria thought every house should have several "tree tenants" and that "the straight line is Godless". Therefore, everything he laid his hand upon followed this rule of bringing the house as close to nature as possible. Kunst Haus has ten tree tenants, curved floors and offers a beautiful ride into the life of the man who fought against "window apartheid", namely the ugly structure, uniformity of so called functional residences. I loved his paintings, slithly childish and so colourful as much as I loved the replicas of his works. I believe that a man who was able to turn a horrid factory into something that resembles a fairytale castle must have been really gifted by God and honoured respectively.

Worth the trip. It's pretty spectacular and more so for the background of Hundertwass and his philosophy on living spaces. Take the central city #1 tram, the same one that goes round the inner ring strasse. It stops right outside. A few steps down the street there's also a fabulous, traditional coffee house.
