I would hardly lay claim to be expert in church design and decor, but this baroque example is stunning inside. Relatively small, so a visit need not take all day.
There is a lift which supposedly takes you up to a viewing platform, but in fact takes you two thirds of the way, then it scaffolding stairs the rest of the way, which are quite rickety and not suitable for anyone who is not reasonably fit, or indeed scared of heights.
The final platform does give views, but these are obscured by mesh over windows, which themselves are fairly small.
So, for 8 euro each, the church itself is worth a visit, but don't go expecting to be knocked out by the lift and viewing platform experience - it is a disappointment.
