Upper Belvedere offers an outstanding view over the city. I am not a great lover of art galleries but even I was impressed by the wide variety of paintings from painters such as Monet and Renoir.

Splendid garden and beautiful palace! But more importantly, home to the magnificent art pieces of such artists as Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, and sometimes on loan..works of Van Gogh. This is one sight that is not to be missed. It is such a beautiful place with so much history. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful place, just breathtaking."
Inside and out, one of my favorite painting's of all time THE KISS, by Gustav Klimt was even more beautiful in person!"
Only thing I was very upset about, is picture taking is not allowed inside any of the museums!
Very disappointing!!!
But other then that we really enjoyed our selves, went with our 3 children they relly enjoyed it too!" very nice that children under 18 are free!" a plus there!" :)
Would definatley go back!"

Splendid garden and beautiful palace! But more importantly, home to the magnificent art pieces of such artists as Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, and sometimes on loan..works of Van Gogh. Be sure to check out the portrait busts by Franz Xaver Messerschmidt. The sculptures are often referred to as “character heads” because each one depicts a slightly different expression or has a unique hair style. You'll want to take one home with you ;-)
