Just returned from a weeklong visit to Vienna with my spouse and mother in law. I don't believe we could've found a better flat. It's ideally located on an edge of the pedestrian-only area of the city center, within walking distance of practically everything worth seeing and doing. The Stefanplatz undergound station is 5 minutes away, but Christian wasn't kidding when he said we'd rarely need it to get around. Anyway, the flat is absolutely charming, tastefully decorated and furnished, and outfitted with every modern appliance and amenity you'd expect to find in a rental unit. There's a bakery 30 feet from the front door of the building, as well as restaurants, bars, and a grocery store just minutes away. Of course, nothing's perfect when you're staying in a building that's probably been there since the 1600s, but it's as close as you can get. Highly recommended, for sure. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
