We had the goose liver to start, was ok but nothing special. However whatever green herb butter whip served with the bread was amazing. For the main we got schnitzels, probably the best I've ever had. Great service as well, a solid first meal in Vienna.

The restaurant aspires to be a fine dining one. Modern interior, nice table setup. They also ask for a cover charge (2.3 euros per person)for laying the table and for some bread and butter that I didn't eat. They also charge extra if you share your meal with someone. Concerning food, it was soooo salty! We could only eat half of it because of that. No kids menu. The service was quick but the waiter was only concerned about the tip and not why we didn't finished our food. Would not recommend especially if on a low salt diet.

We were looking for Snichel and where to go for good ones. Found this restaurant and was glad we did. We went twice. The food was great both times and the Service was great. We often share a meal as they are often so large and these did not disappoint. We would go again if we could.

Since we were in Vienna my wife and I wanted a Wiener Schnitzel for dinner. We asked about and this place was recommended highly. The staff were friendly but it seemed they were tired of tourists. They had bread on the table, but if you had some it cost you - typical for this area, but when you are dealing with tourists it seems an easy way to make a few euros. We both ordered the schnitzel and we were not disappointed with the food. However, when we got the bill we noted extra charges - over two euro each just to sit down. Now this may be common in Vienna but I took offense to have to pay to eat... The price was also expensive and when I paid the bill I didn't give a decent tip - I figured they got 4+ Euros from me to sit there. The waiter was less than pleased, I guess because Americans are known to tip decent. It just bothered me to have to pay at a restaurant for the privilege to sit...

This restaurant is centrally located in the heart of the city. It is right next to the Opera house and on a pedestrian street that is closed to cars. The menu is typically Austrian with lots of beef and potato dishes. The service was very prompt and our waiter was helpful in explaining the menu choices. The atmosphere is boisterous and quick paced. I started with a simple green salad with goat cheese and pine nuts, a good light start to the meal. I ordered a special steak dish and my partner ordered the liver. Both were very good. For dessert we had their chocolate cake which was warm and yummy. The service was good and the menu has enough menu choices that you should be able to find something. This was a very authentic Austrian experience.
