There was nothing particularly fancy here, but it was a really nice stay.

It's a bit of a walk from transit, but it's close to the canal and there's plenty of places to walk for food if you don't want to eat in house.

Breakfast was quite good and the staff was quite nice.

I got a great recommendation for where to run and had a very nice stay overall.

The one thing to watch out for is the heating. My room was quite hot and the heat couldn't be adjusted in the room. Watch out for the top floor, as heat rises...

My husband and I we’ve stayed at this hotel twice and we’ve chosen it because of its location and its price. I mean it was not cheap with 70 euros per night but it was a good choice for us. The rooms are not very big but confortable enough. It was not very warm outside during our stay so we did not suffer because there were no air conditioning but this could be a problem in other periods I suppose. What we considered being a big problem is that there is no fridge in the room. Even though we’ve chose it also for our second stay in Vienna because it’s a great starting point for visiting this city. Metro and tram stations are close; you can also walk to some of the main attractions as the Prater or St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Museum quartier or the Imperial Palace (Hofburg).
The street where the hotel is located is very quiet in the night so one can sleep very well. We didn’t interact too much with the staff at the reception, only when we checked in and out so I cannot say much on this subject.
The breakfast buffet was just great, with plenty of choices also for [people who don’t eat meat (like my husband). We’ve enjoyed our stay but after two stays here we’ve probably chose something else in the future. But I recommend this hotel for people who are not very exigent.

We took a short break last year in Vienna and wanted to come back for longer (ten days). Of course, longer stays cost more so we found and booked the All You Need 2 at half the price of where we stayed last year (the Caprice).

Have to say that the hotel is basic but, really as the name suggests, is all you need. There are no kettles in the rooms, so drinks are obtained via the vending machines downstairs. Breakfast is good (European hot, cold selections and cereals, yoghurts and jams) and there's an ok all you can eat buffet dinner service for about eleven euros. Tried it once and can say that the pork medallions were pretty tasty.

Staff are friendly and helpful. For example, they rang ahead to the ferry/cruise company and Rathauskeller to ask questions for us and book us tickets in advance. Would recommend booking popular attractions ahead of time.

The free wi-fi was poor to non-existent in our room but strong in the foyer. But hey, we're on holiday so who really needs the Internet?!

No safes in the rooms, despite the wardrobes having keyholes. The hotel safe can store valuables but at two euros a day.

One bonus is that the hotel has a small garden to eat outside or perhaps to read a book and enjoy a beer (from the vending machine!) in a balmy evening.

The hotel itself is very well placed. It's half way between Schwedenplatz and Shottenring, on the quiter side of the canal and just a twenty or thirty minute walk to any of the main noise (Rathaus, Prater park, Mitte and so on).

To sum up, we were slightly taken aback at first by how basic the hotel could be in some areas but by the end of the week, we were really happy and when you consider how cheap it is, it really is all you need.

I spent only 1 night in AllYouNeed Hotel in Vienna (which is somewhere in between a hotel and a hostel anyway) with some friends. It is only 4 stop from Krieau Stadium by metro (approx. 25 mins walk anyway). Stephansdom (=city centre) is a 10 minutes walk.
The hotel is surrounded by one-way streets which makes car parking/navigating a bit difficult but there is a safe parking house where hotel guests can have some places.
The rooms were small but cosy, our rooms on the top floor had balconies as well. There is no air conditioning. Shower gel/shampoo amount is low, even for a one-night stay. TV has 100+ channels.
Breakfast was excellent! :-) You even can have it in the small garden.
Best part of the stay was the morning with a wide choice of food for breakfast and the polite staff in the dining room.
Reception staff could have been a bit more eager to help but generally they were OK. Reception doesn't work during the night but you can enter the building with the room key.

And the last thing: there was nothing open around the hotel from 11 pm onwards (no bars, no cafes, no corner shops) so be prepared in advance if you plan to have a few drinks there. ;-)

Room Tip: Rooms on 6th floor are very hot during the summer

Parents went for four nights, the breakfast was excellent and the rooms were small but i guess for the price we paid that's what we got, all in all was an excellent hotel, could do slightly better with air conditioning rooms. the breakfast was amazing, much better than the rooms and easily worth it for the amount paid.

Very good value for money, very clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. No aircon. Half way between a hostel and a hotel. Bit of a walk from the main area in the heat (mid-August) but ok location. Would recommend.

We spent 2 nights here during September and really enjoyed it. The rooms are small and cosy, but absolutely pristine and accommodating. The continental breakfast was delicious. The hotel is very centrally located. I'd definitely stay there again.
