“Loved this hotel, location is excellent.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2011

We stayed at this hotel in December and it was a great choice.
The airport bus drop off stop is a 3 minute walk.
One of the main tram stops is a 2 minute walk along with the U-barn.
The hotel is clean and stylish.
The rooms were spacious and very modern. The bathroom was very nice and well equiped.
The beds were so comfy with great big thick quilts (it was very cold outside).
Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were so polite and helpful Their English was amazing.
The only smallest thing that lets this hotel down is the size of the breakfast room. We had to wait every morning, not for long but it didn't seem big enough for the hotel. But once you were seated, the choice was brilliant and again, the staff were lovely.

This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Vienna. Our room looked out onto Rudolfsplatz, which is a beautiful and quiet square with a small park. Our room was very comfortable, clean and of a good size, with a lovely bathroom, tea and coffee facilities and a well stocked mini bar. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with fresh, beautifully prepared tropical fruit, fruit salad, hot food and lovely pastries. The service in the hotel was excellent and very friendly. In the foyer there are daily newspapers, an Internet corner (with free access) and a nice lounge. The airport bus stop is only around the corner on Morzinplatz, with a convenient, cheap and fast service to the airport. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs in the surrounding area, where you can usually get food until 11pm. Vienna is not only one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in Europe, it also has an amazing cuisine - don't forget to go to the cafes for their unique atmosphere and delicious cakes, and the great beer and wine cellars, like Bierhof, Eszterhazykeller and Apostelkeller. We shall definitely return and stay at this lovely and friendly hotel again.

I recently stayed 2 nights at the K+K Palais Hotel in Vienna. We were originally booked into a different hotel which then closed down, and our tour operator re-booked us here. I'm very pleased they did! The hotel is in a quiet square, and even though our room was at the front, it really was very quiet considering we were right in the centre of the city. The room and bathroom are modern and spacious, I was a little concerned that our room was so close to the lift, but only heard other guests once at the lift in the morning at around 8am. We had tea/coffee making facilities which was replenished and 2 complimentrary bottles of water (although there were 3 of us sharing the room). The breakfast was lovely with a hot and cold buffet including smoked salmon and sparkling wine. There is also free internet access in the lobby so we could check in on line for our return flight to London. The location of the hotel is very central and we walked everywhere. I would recommend this hotel, and if I ever return to Vienna I will make sure I stay here.

Lets start with the good - this is an excellent hotel, located right in the heart of a gorgeous City & is perfect for exploring. The rooms are large, clean etc, beds amazingly comfortable. Breajkfast good, free internet etc.
The average - the bar/bistro quiet and lacks atmosphere but good bar man and good selection of drinks
The downside - could really do with a gym or a pool to exercise away Viennese calories !
That said I would come again, this has the feeling of a boutique hotel and the staff were ace.

Very nice, comfortable hotel just a few minutes walk from the centre. The room was a good size and very clean and quiet. The staff were all very helpful and front desk were happy to make reservations at restaurants for us and make suggestions on what to see and do. The breakfast was very good - all you can eat buffet with numerous choices (you can even have prosecco if you wished). Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Vienna.

We have just returned from 5 days at this hotel and would certainly stay here again. It is so conveniently located, being only 3 minutes walk from the airport bus stop on Morzenplatz while St Stephens Cathedral is less than 10 minutes walk away. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous , for example recommending a restaurant on our first night and making a reservation for us. The rooms were a decent size with a well appointed bathroom. The area is very quiet thus making for a good nights sleep. There is no restaurant but the breakfast room is comfortable, roomy and well stocked with efficient serving staff.

Room Tip: We asked for and were given a room overlooking the attractive square.

We really enjoyed a 3 days stay here. The hotel is located at the “less fashionable” eastern side of the inner city close to the Danube Canal, which frankly is a plus as it is quieter and greener! It is within easy walking distance to the city centre. The inner city bus is around the corner and tram/subway station just 5 minutes away. The room was medium sized, very clean and had a nice bathroom. We were lucky to face the park in front and thus were greeted with marvellous sunshine every morning. The breakfast buffet was high quality, fresh fruits, lots of choices and not the “industrial spread” one often finds these days. There is no gym, but you can run along the canal instead! Part of the B&B “package” was a 3-days Vienna card for unlimited use of public transport which was really convenient. Free internet access (plus three free terminals downstairs) and a good mix of Austrian/German and International papers was a welcome plus. The only minus point I can think of was the rolling noise of the cleaning trolleys in the morning as the hallways have a concrete floor… Otherwise highly recommendable!
