We stayed here in November and the hotel does what it says on the tin. It does not have an evening restaurant but it is in such a good location close to the city centre and walkable this does not matter. Staff excellent, rooms clean, warm and we asked for a view over the park which was extremely pleasant.

Lovely comfortable, clean hotel in a quiet location but very close to attractions and restaurant. Most attractions are within easy walking distance but there is an underground station nearby if you choose not to walk.
Very friendly, helpful staff and the whole hotel seemed to be run with quiet but fuss-free efficiency. The restaurant staff were particularly alert in keeping the breakfast items well stocked and coffee cups filled. The barman was also friendly and knowledgeable.
Our room was on the 6th floor and was quiet and comfortable. I found the constant temperature was at a very pleasant level for the December climate.
We went for the Christmas markets but I would like to visit in the summer months and I will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

We had a wonderful stay at K&K last week. They kindly upgraded us to an executive double, with lovely views over the city centre. The location was very convenient, just a few mins from the Metro station, and about 10-20 mins walk to the major attractions. Rooms are very clean, buffet breakfasts plentiful and topped up frequently, good variety on offer too. Free wi-fi worked very well. Bar prices were on the high side.
The public transport system in Vienna is very efficient, and the journey from airport to hotel was a doddle. Vienna is such a beautiful city, we are already planning our next trip, and will definitely be returning to the K&K.

We booked through Jet2 Holidays and our expectations were formed by the price we had paid however I can't praise this hotel highly enough! Great reception and bar staff, room serviced whilst we were at breakfast on the first morning (ultra efficient) and oh the breakfast! If you stay here on the basis of my review leave room and time to appreciate the variety on offer at breakfast especially the Prosecco and grilled tomatoes.

Having previously stayed in a K & K hotel in Paris we thought we would try one of the Vienna hotels.
The Maria Theresia is well located about five minutes walk from the Volkstheater underground station and an easy walk to most other attractions of the city.
The decor is very 80's and some of the staff could do with a bit of a tidy up but the hotel offers good basic accommodation. There is a small gym and free wifi which works well. Our room was a good size and the bathroom well equipped although the postage stamp size piece of soap is a bit of a joke - see photo.
The breakfast is good although the room has the feel of a holiday camp. As far as the food goes there was something for everyone and the buffet was constantly being refreshed so nothing ever ran out. They even provide a Nespresso machine in the breakfast room but you have to queue to make a coffee and it regularly runs out of water.
Christoph the barman deserves a mention. He was on his own in the bar on Friday and Saturday nights and coped calmly and efficiently.
Overall we had a pleasant stay. Not sure I would stay again however I would recommend the hotel to someone looking for a slightly cheaper option in Vienna.

Modern new hotel with good breakfast.
Lots of choice, everthing nice and fresh.

On walking distance into the hart of Vienna.
Nice lobby and bar serving good wines with dito service.

Comfortable quiet room; a bit warm when entering but that's maybe a matter of personal preference.

The only thing that could have made it better would have been to have a double bed instead of a small single one. But I did book a "single" room, so it made sense that the bed was single. This hotel was faultless and nothing else could have improved it. One of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe.

Although the bed was small, it was comfortable. The room was huge and spacious, even included a large private terraced balcony where I could get fresh air when wanted. I found the room a bit hot on the first night so I left the balcony door open and felt perfectly safe. I told the hotel staff and they fixed the temperature so that it was more comfortable the rest of the nights. The bathroom and facilities were so clean that I could have been the first guest to stay there. The wifi access was included and was fast; I also used the computer room off the lobby and was able to print things there for no cost.

The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with a very efficient service so that even when the room was nearly full, a table could always be found without waiting and the food was continuously being refilled. The hotel staff were really lovely and were happy to give advice and recommendations. Location was brilliant, with a very friendly and atmospheric Christmas market taking place two streets away (great for gluhwein and snacks in the evening) and one of the better large Christmas markets between the two museums just 5 minutes' walk away. I used the metro several times from Volkstheater - this was close, convenient, and well-connected to everywhere I wanted to go.
