We were looking forward to staying in this hotel, which was the most expensive of our trip, and in many ways it lived up to expectations. The thoughtful environmental features are always evident, and the hotel is very stylish.
Being in Vienna, it was not surprising that the room was small, and the bathroom was cupboard-sized. The bathroom is not really separate from the bedroom (there is a partial glass door), which was fine for us but could be a problem for some guests. There is a temperature control of sorts, but it takes a long time to respond, and we were often too hot in the room.
Breakfast was really top-notch, with a huge choice of high-quality items.
The reception staff seemed rather too busy, and we had to wait in a long queue to check out. There is a secure underground room for bicycles.More
