The position is fantastic - you can walk everywhere and the metro stop is close by too. The street is quiet and just off the Kartner strasse and close to the designer shop area of the Graben. The building is relatively small and decorated in keeping with grand old Vienna. Champagne is on offer with the very nice breakfast which was included in the room rate. The staff were most friendly and helpful. The Opera house on your doorstep and a stroll down the road takes you to the Stephansdom.
Remember that everything closes on Sundays. Don't forget to visit the Nachtmarkt

Room Tip: 28 is bigger than 14!

My wife and I spent a week here with other family members over Christmas. We had a room on the top floor which we booked through Best Western using the Senior rate. While the bathroom was a bit small the room itself was well appointed. The included breakfast was very good and the staff was most helpful. The location was excellent. A small Christmas tree in our room was a nice touch.
All in all a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

The location is phenomenal. The hotel is within walking distance of most of the tourist sites like the Belvedere Museum. The hotel is known for being historical. The price is a bit expensive but you can not put a price on quality and comfort. The breakfast offered is simply amazing. You have a wonderful selection of pastries, juice, bread, cheese and meat. The staff are very polite and helpful.

To start with the pre - arrival customer service was excellent as we were arriving on Christmas eve and there wasn't going to be a lot of restaurants open, the staff made every attempt to make sure that we were going to get a good meal.
The Hotel itself is in very good condition and is very comfortable with the amenities in the rooms of a good quality.
For Europe the room sizes are good and with a comfortable bed.
The breakfast was of good quality with a lot of hot or cold options.
The staff were very friendly and always gave assistance when requested.
We would definitely go back.

Amazing: location, room, services, staff, breakfast, everything. You cannot fault this! Great historical hotel. Might be a bit expensive, but quality does not come cheap. EnjoyVienna accommodation at its best.

This hotel can't be beat. I would definately stay here again if I am in Vienna. the location is superb because it is a few steps from the main pedestrain walkway. I also like the breakfast, although others on here have noted it is small. It is still a good buffet breakfast, a lot of things but not a lot of one thing. The best feature of the hotel was the bathroom. It was one of the best bathrooms I ever had in a hotel and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. I really enjoyed the hotel and it has to be a highlight of my trip to vienna. A must stay hotel!!

I can't find enough words to praise this hotel - we stayed 5 nights in Deluxe room 34 on 4th floor and it was a real holiday! The room was about 21 square meters as promised with luxurous pink&gold bathroom with matching pink towels and fully supplied with good quality toiletries. The beds were very comfortable, with very good bed linen. The hotel has good ajustable heating, so we slept with open windows, room full of fresh air and warm. The room was made up twice a day but we never saw our maid, so we were not disturbed at all. The breakfast was very good, with eggs cooked to order, a wide choice of cheese and cold cuts, cereals, pastries and very good Nespresso, we especially liked fruit salad with raspberries and blackberries. The staff was very nice and efficient, always ready to help and greeting us with smiles. The hotel itself being a small baroque palace with crystal chandeliers, red velvet armchairs and white&gold furniture is full of character and romantic atmosphere, especially when decorated for Christmas. The hotel has two opposite entrances: Kruger strasse entrance is good if you arrive by car. Second entrance is on very quiet medieval pedestrian Annagasse with lovely St.Anna church - we always walked this way - just 1 minute and you are at the crowded brightly illuminated Kartner strasse and everything is just around the corner. The area is very safe and we walked back very late undisturbed. I very much recommend to attend concert in St.Anna church - we listened Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" performed by young musicians, it was very nice. Opera house is alsow very near, so we got there by foot in 5 minutes all dressed up in evening gowns and high heel pamps - it was absolutely extraodinary performance of "Love elixir" with Juan Diego Flores and because this was our main purpose in Vienna, we were absolutely happy. Since everything was very near during 4 days of our stay we managed to do a lot of sightseeing, shopping and eating out at best places. We suppose this was one of the best city breaks we had and the right choice of this hotel was very significant part of it. I very much recommend this hotel and I am absolutely sure I will stay there my next time in Vienna.

Room Tip: Take Deluxe room - big bathroom, slippers and bathrobes
