Located on a side street directly opposite the Rudolfstiftung Hospital is this Italian restaurant offering traditional Italian pasta, meat and fish dishes.
While in Vienna I visited it twice: once after the lunch hour peak and once during. I’d highly recommend avoiding the peak time because its location makes at a big favorite with staff and visitors at the nearby hospital, and at the prime lunch hour the service speed suffered a little. The off-peak visit was much more enjoyable with better service from a really friendly waiter. But on both occasions the food was very good, especially considering the reasonable prices.
Don’t look for exceptional décor here, but the tables and chairs are comfortable and are well spaced apart. As well, the non-smoking section is separated by a sliding door which staff and guests took pains to keep closed.
So, for a well-priced and decent quality Italian, this restaurant makes the grade and is worth a try.
