Our "first" room smelled, so they did change and the second was dirty, old food in the fridge. Floors were deteriorated and paint was spoiled with food or else (?). beds were ok. bath was ok, but tile was dirty in between... Internet didn't work for the whole of our stay 2 nights. Linen was good quality and clean, carpet was also clean. Elevator to 7th floor is old and creepy... will never return.

Room Tip: After went to K&K in Prage with escellent results.

Hotel was ok for the price we paid, but very noisy school party playing about until 3am so sleep quality was very poor. Good local Croatian bars with very friendly locals. Good location.

The hotel is terrible and doesn't not deserve 4 stars. I stayed there in November 2010. The staff is hostile and unhelpful. The carpeting in the corridors and rooms is stained. I didn't feel safe to walk in the room without shoes. The pool area has no windows, the plaster on walls peels off and it horribly smells chlorine. It seems like there is no ventilation system there. Because of being connected to the small gym (with 3-4 machines), the gym smells chlorine too and has no windows. The only pro is a good location, i.e. close to the metro. I will never stay at this hotel anymore!

I've stayed at this hotel for weekend with firends. The location is good, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the city centre - the only advantage! The staff is unprofessional, not helpful and not customer friendly. Even the level of german language skills was not meeting my expectations. They didn't know how to solve problem and speak to the guests. Our room wasn't prepared on time, one bed was missing. The room looked old, bath wasn't very clean. From 4 stars hotel I would expect much more. It's rather 3*** bed and breakfest. Payment problems: although we paid by booking in advance, they charged our credit card agin by check-in. Be careful! For people with low expectation and good spanish knowledge!

The hotel is well located: 5 min away from the next subwaystation and in front of the hotel is the tram station.
The rooms are clean, funkctional and really okay, the bathrooms a little bit small, but okay.
The breakfast is served as a buffet, the choice is okay, but there is every morning exactly the same.
The pool is small and not very inviting.
Being in this hotel feels like being in Spain, because all the service stuff speaks spanish. The stuff at the reception desk is not very helpful in knowing restaurants nearby or just calling a taxi (did not happen, although i had to catch a train at the Westbahnhof).
It feels more of a 3 star hotel, than a 4 star.
If you book early, the prices should be fair.
Would recommand this hotel again for a weekend trip maybe, not for a longer stay.

Hotel has not been even painted in the outside for years, looks old and dirty, however inside was clean. Rooms have on the upper floor do not get too much hot water. I was there for three nights, April 25,26and 27,2012 and the temperature wasin the 70's.but the Hotel had no air condition. You have to open the windows to get some air and sleep. The same boring breakfas every day. Last day they did not provide any towels. Bring your own supply or you will be in bad shape. Do not let anyone fool you, this is a two star hotel all the way
