“Well located, practical, but not a 4 star hotel!”
Reviewed May 21, 2012

The hotel is well located: 5 min away from the next subwaystation and in front of the hotel is the tram station.
The rooms are clean, funkctional and really okay, the bathrooms a little bit small, but okay.
The breakfast is served as a buffet, the choice is okay, but there is every morning exactly the same.
The pool is small and not very inviting.
Being in this hotel feels like being in Spain, because all the service stuff speaks spanish. The stuff at the reception desk is not very helpful in knowing restaurants nearby or just calling a taxi (did not happen, although i had to catch a train at the Westbahnhof).
It feels more of a 3 star hotel, than a 4 star.
If you book early, the prices should be fair.
Would recommand this hotel again for a weekend trip maybe, not for a longer stay.

Hotel has not been even painted in the outside for years, looks old and dirty, however inside was clean. Rooms have on the upper floor do not get too much hot water. I was there for three nights, April 25,26and 27,2012 and the temperature wasin the 70's.but the Hotel had no air condition. You have to open the windows to get some air and sleep. The same boring breakfas every day. Last day they did not provide any towels. Bring your own supply or you will be in bad shape. Do not let anyone fool you, this is a two star hotel all the way

Although the hotel is not centrally located, you can be in the city center in a few minutes. The hotel is just a 5' walk from the U-Bahn station and there is a tram stop just in front of the hotel. However, the hotel is situated in a not attractive area and you might feel unsafe while walking during the night from the U-Bahn station to the hotel. Our room was not properly cleaned and beds were not so comfortable. Personal care kit (shampoo, shower gel) was not replaced every day during our stay. Breakfast was just OK. Most of the staff was friendly. It's definitely not a 4 star hotel. I would hardly recommend this hotel to anyone. I am sure there are better hotels in Vienna at this price category.

The hotel was easy to find and nice location to the old city center. Not too far but, walking about 10-15 minutes from the hotel will take you to city center. Besides, the hotel was quite comfortable, and clean. The staff was friendly. For parking your car, it is expensive if you use the hotel's parking space, but you can find free streets nearby. Since you are in Vienna, it is quite recommended that you go to a concert. They are quite expensive but highly recommended.

Upon arriving at the hotel the outside looked quite shabby and I was disappointed. Once in the lounge I was more impressed as it was modern and clean. The hotel staff were helpful during my stay. The room was clean but small and there was no provided shampoo/conditioner, there was shower gel. I found the bed to be on the hard side but I managed to sleep. The bar staff were friendly and you were given some peanuts with your purchase. They do not sell anything on draught, it is all bottles. There is free wifi available to all guests which is really useful and there is also a free gym & swimming pool but I can't really review these as I didn't use them. While the hotel is not in the centre it is only a few stops away on the U-Bahn. The walk from the hotel to Alser Strabe U-Bahn station takes 5-10 minutes which i found reasonable. Overall a pleasant stay.

not extremly central located hotel, but tram stop is in front of the hotel and downtown can be reached within 10 min,
We have booked 3 rooms. My room - single use for doubleroom - was extremely small, only 1 room was comfortable with regard to the room size, but rooms were cleaned perfectly. The advantage of the rooms are timber bottom.
no restaurants or coffeshops closed to the hotel and only limmited access to the hotel bar (closed on Sunday evening as we came back from the theater at 11.00pm and outside temperature were below 12 degree minus)
