I’m impressed.

This has to be one of the finest hotels in the world and I’ve been to some of the best. Everything about the Sacher is first class from the moment you walk in. The staff are friendly, efficient and welcoming and will attend to your every need. Suite 106 is comfortable and superbly appointed, complete with a luxurious bathroom, and it’s clear that no expense has been spared . While overlooking a busy street the room is so quiet one would think they were in the middle of a forest, and the air conditioning is quiet and effective. The only thing I need now is an excuse to return to Vienna.

We needed a place to visit for a few days in between 2 business trips in Europe so we chose Vienna. The Sacher is an excellent property. From the top notch service (concierge, front desk, bell staff all perfect) to the good eating and drinking areas (Blue Bar small but very classy) this is the place to stay if not overly concerned with a budget. One area of weakness: our suite had a heated bathroom floor- which in the winter I am sure is quite desirable, but in the summer who wants heats! There didn't appear to be away to lower or turn it off.

Amazing hotel. Love every part of it. But air conditioner basically blows hot air. On a warm summer day or night you basically want to die at this place. The lobby is warm. The rooms are warm. Simply stay away. Such a shame because it really is a lovely property.
