Luxury, class and style
the minute I walked in to the Sacher Hotel, I felt like I stepped in to a different time period, it was so elegant, from the feel, walls, carpets, lighting, service and all was like being in the 1950's in its prime time. just like the movies!

the room was large, clean and beautiful. the balcony faced the Opera House so we listed to Mozart and other classical music most of the day for free!

its central location and the breakfast was the high light of my day. enjoying Champaign and Sacher Tort every morning what can a girl ask more.
perfect romantic destination hotel and city!

We didn't stay here but did spend a lovely evening and an afternoon enjoying the cockatiels in the Blue Bar. The bar is cosy a nd full of old world charm. The bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the cocktails are expertly made and delicious. Surprisingly for one of the best hotels in .vienna they are very good value at around 10 euros each. This is much cheaper than any Vienna bars and d
Far less than comparable hotels in London and other European cities. We would have happily paid more. Would highly recommend this for a visit during your stay in Vienna.

Staying at the Sacher used to make me nervous. Would I be given one of the beautiful rooms on the new top two floors or would I end up in a sea of puce paisley? With its renovation complete, this is no longer a concern. Fresh from a complete renovation, ALL the rooms at the Sacher Wien are fresh, clean and luxurious.

My favorites still remain rooms on the top two floors (deluxe, top deluxe and suites) as they have great views over the city. If you're in a room facing the opera house (right across the street), you may even have a view into warm-up rooms of the singers or ballerinas, which is a neat treat.

I love this hotel because even though it's fairly large (149 rooms and suites) you still have the feeling of stepping into a small family-run hotel. This is probably due in large part to the hands-on management of Mrs. Guertler (the owner) and her very competent team of professionals. I have received great service from everyone from the check-in desk to the concierge to the bell staff.

During my last stay in January, I had a deluxe room with two twin beds. The room was spacious and renovated in shades of white and cream. It felt very plush and the bed itself was a dream. The bathrooms are all marble and while I don't love the chocolate shampoo, etc., it's a great bathroom overall.

The breakfast is quite expansive and has several items made to order included when you have the buffet breakfast. I've always had this included in my room rate, but, on its own it can be pricey.

Another advantage of the hotel is its location. It sits right at the start of the pedestrian district - next door to the opera and right where all the shopping starts. The wonderful Albertina Museum (and the delicious DO&CO Cafe) are right behind the hotel and the Hofburg, Museum Quarter, Naschmarkt and the new Jewish Museum are all just a short stroll away.

The hotel lacks a pool but has an extensive spa area and a small fitness center. The restaurants are superb and the Sacher Cafe (a must-visit for Sacher Torte) provides a great casual experience.

Room Tip: If your budget allows, splurge for a Top Deluxe. If not, try to book Deluxe instead of Superior. I...

WE stayed in this hotel while we were in Vienna and it was amazing. This hotel is very elegant and with a lot of history. We were greeted with a plate of friut and a petite Sacher torte in our room. Everywhere you look is beautiful in this hotel and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Don't doubt staying here, you will not regret it.

We had 4 nights in Vienna and decided to stay at the Sacher Hotel. It was a great choice, with it's proximity to the State Opera and the shopping and museums all at its footsteps. The interiors vere clean with a nice ambiance. We also had meals at the Rote Bar, the Anne Sacher Restauant and theSacher Cafe - all very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Sacher better than ever.
The rooms with every single carefully thought detail are one of the best in the world.
Starting your day in the shine of the chandeliers in the breakfast room will make you feel
being in the heaven.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely.

Spent 2 nights here, we were lucky enough to be upgraded. As you would expect the staff were wonderful, from the doorman to consierge, waiters, chambermaids. Our room was a good size with separate seating are, plush decor and colours (Red), fruit basket and welcome cake.
Great marble Bathroom with shower room and bath as you would expect. Unfortunately we did not have a view. The suites are on the side that would give the view of the Opera etc. Great location off course.Glad we stayed there.

Room Tip: You get what you pay for. A suite would be awesome.
