“Interesting and eye-closing experience”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

This is a great experience for everyone - a 60 minute guided tour in utter blackness. Our blind guide Nelli was great and gave little tips so that also the kids were not afraid, but the group (8 people) had to find their way through this course. Complete with simulated road crossing, boat cruise and a cave hike, all ending at a bar for drinks. Well worth the entrance fee, and the guides are even happy to answer very personal questions. You need to reserve a time slot for the tour in advance.

“Fantastic experience”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

When we went there we did not really know what to exepect. After we had been split up in small groups of six, one of the receptionists explained how to use a blind people's stick. And the we were sent right into the dark. Some of the younger folks were quite nervous, some even scared. One of them had to break the tour, she was not feeling well. But in the end most of us found the tour almost too short and we agreed that we would definitely recommend this experience to others.
If you ever want to experience what absolute blindness means then you really have to do this tour. In small groups you tour through everyday situations guided by actually visually handicapped tour guides. They offer also dinners and workshops for students.
Tours also in English.
