Fantastic ambience With live piano play, traditional and effective waiters, and a vibrant Vienna feeling.
Was there one evening around 7 pm as I had a real craving after a Nice apfelstrudel served With icecream. Most places they only serve it With cream, but this place served it With Both a Big splash of whipped cream, and an amazingly tasty scoop of real vanilla ice cream. It was the most perfect unforgettable apfelstrudel I had in Vienna, was the one place I was during my visit I really wanted to come back again and again.

I've tried several of Vienna's historic cafes/coffee houses but Cafe Central is my favourite.

It's grandiose, without being stuffy, and the cakes are exquisite. The Sachertorte is superb but then so was the Truffle cake my friend had.

It's air conditioned (very welcome on a hot day) but unlike most of the other top ten cafes it doesn't have outside seating.

Best restaurant we ate at in Vienna. Main meal and cakes were delicious. There was an extensive menu for lunch and a huge variety of cakes for dessert. Bookings are essential as the restaurant was full. I loved the food and the ambience of this restaurant.

Good service & delicious food.. there are not much choices but the atmosphere was good.. place is organized well

When in vienna you have to visit coffee shops and try the cakes. This one is definately not one too miss. Great surroundings, good coffee and amazing cakes.

Ok its a little pricey but you get what you pay for and thats what counts. Defo a place to treat yourself during a day of vienna sightseeing.
