We were worried that this would be a tourist trap given its history but it was not. A beautiful room with arched ceilings and lots of tables. The staff worked swiftly to seat everyone and serve them quickly but not rush them out. The food was excellent and the cakes in particular were delicious and there was a big choice. Well worth a visit.

We stopped here & enjoyed our goulash soup, it is a lovely building & you can really sense the history of the place. The cakes looked fantastic but we had already been earlier in the day to Cafe Sacher!

We went there for a quick lunch and everything was great as expected. Despite being packed, the service was fast. We weren't that hungry so we only got two soups and a salad which were quite good. Several desserts to choose from. Totally worth it.

We loved this place! Sure, it's touristy, but for good reason -- It is a cultural institution! The interior is absolutely beautiful, and when we came for a snack at 3 or 4 PM we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Skip right to dessert if you'd like -- the cake is ABSOLUTELY amazing. I had the chocolate truffle cake and loved every bite. My SO had the noodles which came with a salad, and they were quite good as well, though. Not too expensive and definitely worth a visit for the beautiful building and rich history.
