After attending a business meeting near the stephans dom i was walking towards the opera starting too feel cold and hungry. Right after deciding to eat dinner somewhere i came across the italic signboard leading me into a seamless alley where the small but nice restaurant was hidden.
After entering I was warmly welcomed by the young and friendly waiting staff offering me a table on the window side. It was good I came early as most of the tables were already reserved.
My first thought was pretty much everything about this restaurant's atmosphere was harmonious and simply felt right.
The friendly and very well trained waiting staff was very competent on informing me what they had in the menu card and also the wine list, always observant and never irritating making me feel taken care of.
As requested the waiter's recommendation for the starters was "Foie Gras Creme Brulee" . And for the main course the speciality of the house "black noodles made of squid-oil with prawns" which name i cannot recall.
For desert the sensational "Italic Nero" which was a warm chocolate cake filled with warm liquid chocolate sauce. It was a treat for the tasting senses.
All in all i was very pleased with the italic cuisine where you could feel it was cooked and prepared with much care and love.
If you are planning to dine in a higher class restaurant and perfect ambient then i would strongly recommend you to try this one out.
