The only reason for a three star review is wholly down to the ticketing experience. We queued for 40 minutes only to get to the desk and be told that there would be a 3 hour wait to get inside the palace. We decided not to bother, but were annoyed and disappointed. We realised with hindsight that we should have booked in advance online, but I think Schloss Shonnbrunn are behaving badly in not explaining the situation to their customers in advance of queuing. This is clearly a profit- maximising mission; they know that people will spend money in the market, shop and restaurants while they wait. It is very poor customer service, though.
