Owner description: The Cultural World Heritage Site of Schönbrunn Palace is Austria's most frequently visited tourist attraction. In the palace the residential and state rooms with their original furnishings and decorations convey an authentic impression of the imperial lifestyle. The park and gardens surrounding the palace make Schönbrunn in a unique synthesis of Baroque art as well as providing a convenient and highly popular recreational area for Vienna's population.

“Must See!”

If you visit Vienna you should understand a bit the Austrian history. There is no easier way to do this, than to take a guided tour of Schonbrunn.

Beautiful parks and palace building. Enough for a full day of pleasure site seeing and walking around. The zoo also is beautiful! We were just before christmas. The market was very pleasant. Enough stands and not too busy

“Feed the squirrels!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2013

The grounds are so beautiful - you can easily spend a whole day there and it's free! (There is plenty to see in 'the palace'. The zoo and palm houses are also worth a visit) We get the U-bahn most mornings and feed the squirrels and birds - it's very therapeautic!

Gorgeous in the frosty sunlight with the Christmas Market. So easy to get to on the Metro. Stunning rooms with interesting history and art. A must visit.

“Frozen gardens of Schonbrunn Palace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2013

Maybe not the most popular time of the year to visit, but the frost and the Christmas and New Year market gave a beautiful scenery. The museum guide (Mojca) was just wonderful. Full of interesting history.
