If you’re idea of a good time is to rummage around a load of old house clearance items which tend to be stupidly overpriced, then come to this “ flea market” , or more accurately described as a car boot sale.
The food market was just a number of stalls , all offering the same produce every 5 mins.
Portobello road, this is not.

famous tourist attraction market in Vienna, with tourist prices. you have much more options to buy these products in the shops around the market at better prices or if you want to buy local, go to the Brunnenmarkt instead, you will have good local quality and prices...

Nice traditional open air market in Vienna, and about a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Nice to combine with lunch if possible. We didn't buy anything at the market but was nice for a short walk.

This place is great. Busy and full of people eating, drinking and laughing. Lots of outside seats to sit and watch the world go by. Great falafel from Dr Falafel.
Not too great for a sit down meal as a veggie as most restaurants were really meaty.
Great to visit though.
