“Kitchen closed without letting us know”
Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

We were eating on a Sunday and the told us that we could order some tapas, eat them and then order more, etc. After we had some tapas we ordered more drinks and wanted to order more tapas. The told us the kitchen was closed. They only had one kind of dessert left. Really strange.. We left after half a diner. What a shame!
The food was nice, except te king prawns were just five of then, not very special, but cost almost 12 euros. Average restaurant.

“Heavenly food!”
Reviewed July 8, 2012 via mobile

We discovered it while strolling across the center of our hometown Vienna and decided to test it on occasion. We also talked to friends who had already eaten there and the confirmed that it would certainly be worth a try . And it certainly was: the food was perfect from beginning till end; the Serrano ham was very tender and the olive bread delicious; so were the garlic prawns and the croquetas. And the crema catalana tasted like heaven. Last but not least, the bodega has a very good wine and sherry selection and the service is very professional.

“Great Tapas, good wines & lovely location”
Reviewed June 22, 2012

We had dinner here last week - the food was excellent. We ordered loads of different tapas and all of them were really, really good. We sat outside; in a little quiet cobble stoned street. What a lovely evening!
Outstanding service!

“Excellent tapas, great ambiance”
Reviewed November 20, 2011

Wonderful ambiance--warm and inviting decor, comfortable seats (unusual in this city), attentive service, English gladly spoken. We were with a group of 12 and had the attention of three servers, ordered 30-35 tapas plates and several bottles of wine, and didn't have to do a lot of fighting for the attention of the servers, which is often typical here in Vienna.

The food was excellent, with hot and cold tapas dishes that were creative and flavorful. Nearly unanimous agreement in our group that this was an overall wonderful dining experience. The restaurant's in a very charming part of town, cobblestone streets and beautiful passages, but short walking distance from Stephansdom, so very convenient for tourists, though enough off the beaten track not to be a tourist trap.

Not cheap, but not too expensive, either. Definitely will be back.
