A traditional Austrian beisl in a side street off Graben street/square. Typical Austrian food (goulasch, schnitzel).
We were here in May 2013 for a supper and we were seated outdoors. It's a walkers-only street and not too large so a nice surrounding for a supper for two :).
The food was very good and the prices very reasonable - 31 Euros for two people including drinks. We had very good, warm, hearty soups - Frittatensuppe and Leberknödelsuppe as entrées. Main courses were bratwürst and schnitzel good portions and tasty meat. Beer and house wine were excellent companions to our meal.
The service was fast and the service friendly - the lady spoke a bit of english too.
Would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone interested in a good, traditional Austrian meal with a no-nonsense approach and prices.
