“One of Europe´s most beautiful cities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

What is there not too like: lots of history and beautiful architecture, all within a very compact area that can easily be walked (with the exception of Belvedere and Schönbrunn).
Vienna offers some of the world´s finest museums, great music, excellent restaurants and great shopping (except on Sundays).
Much of the inner city is pedestrian area, filled with lovely cafes, great for enjoying the wonderful Viennese coffee and cakes and people watching.
There are lots of things to see and do all year round, there is never a bad time for Vienna.
Come and enjoy!

“Beautiful buildings, great for exploring”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

Very pretty buildings. We just wandered around and didn't do any tours. Those who like culture could easily find concerts for the evenings and all sorts of museums for the day.

“Vienna is absolutely fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

Vienna is from now on one of my favorites central european cities, is amazing, beautiful and full of history, and yet modern and very well adapted. Elevators everywhere to go with either wheelchairs or kid prams.

“Not dissimilar to Paris or Budapest”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

nothing truly spectacular in the city centre. St Stephen's is impressive but otherwise typical turn of the entury architecture.

“Overwhelming volume of impressive architecture and sculptures”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

The first you walk there, especially if it's in the evening, you are simply astonished by the number of palaces, statutes, sculptures, gardens and what have you. I find it hard to remember another city with similar number of so many impressively decorated buildings on such a big, yet concentrated area. It's simply amazing and seems to overwhelm you. Especially since in these days Austria does not seem to be such a world center. But then when you stretch your memory (or google a bit, if you never learned about it) it comes to your mind, that this was the capital of the impressive historical Austro-Hungarian empire. And that explains it. With all the carriages roaming around, you can easily picture the way this capital used to look in the past.Astonishing sites and places to visit. Hard to take it all in a single visit.
