“Baroque and beautiful”

Whilst Vienna is expensive it was worth it for the bauty of the place its really an astounding place something interesting at the turn of every corner. The architecture is fabulous it screams look at us we are rich and we are powerful and after all that's what the Habsburgs were very rich and very very powerful.

There are plenty of shops and cafes but as I said expensive. I'd say its somewhere to take lots of photos and visit places of interest but don't buy too many presents or go there as a shopping trip

“Pedestrianised and extensive”

Lots to see and do, shops, galleries, museums etc. Plus plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. The Palace and Spanish Riding School are not to be missed as is the opera House.

“Hot!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

My wife and I spent a few days in Vienna and especially enjoyed the historic center. There is plenty to do and see. We walked through a beautiful rose garden that was a highlight for my wife. There is also lots of great shopping in the area. We were there in June during a heatwave though and were surprised at how hot and humid it was.

“Beautiful and fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Vienna is probably the most charming city I have ever visited, largely owing to its small size and the sense of intimacy which you don't get in larger capitals such as Berlin and Budapest (both brilliant by the way). Everything is within a ten minute walk of the centre. The buildings have been beautifully restored and everywhere you look there is beauty. Add in the wonderful museums, art galleries and St Stephan's Cathedral and this is paradise for art, architecture and music devotees. Not cheap but worth every Euro.

“Walk through time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Walking through the history of the Austrians and imagine you are in the center of the happening.. You can't go lost, and if you end up at the same place you started, you still enjoy looking around again.
