5 min. walk from the Schönbrunn gardens, hidden in a small alley we found the Nook cafe to be a gem. this is a place off the beaten path still right around the corner. we had a first class coffee (melange, we learned the coffee comes from a little coffee roaster in Vienna) and I chose the breakfast platter no 2, a variety of hummus, 2 different kinds of spread, aragula salad topped with roasted peppers and beets. with two slices of wonderful rye bread. young and friendly servants, we couldn't have asked for more. the cafe is very clean and provides a cosy atmosphere. highly recommended! btw, it's a dog friendly place.
