Description: Vienna is different! With an Australian culinary outpost located in the heart of the city. Go down into the world of down under - we serve exotic titbits such as tender ostrich and kangaroo steaks or fried grasshoppers in the middle of an Australian opal mine. Here you can also have the juiciest burgers and beefsteaks. Along with the meals, we also serve a superior selection of Australian wines and great Aussie beers including Fosters, Ayers Rock Red, VB, James Boags, Coopers to name but a few.

“Great quiz night!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2012

As a group of expats in Vienna, we had a great night out at their quiz on Tuesday. It wasn't too difficult and the atmosphere was really good :) Food was also nice, if a little on the pricey side - but this is to be expected right in the centre of Vienna. We'll definitely be going back! Also, a huge plus for me was that smoking is not allowed downstairs, where the quiz takes place - that's pretty rare in the Irish/Australian bars in the Vienna, and for someone like me, who hates the lack of smoking ban in Austria, it was great!

“Great Pub Quiz”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

Crossfield's is a good place for a pub quiz on a Tuesday night. There is a mix of Australians, Americans, Brits and Austrians and the quiz isn't too difficult - so you might have a chance of winning, as we came 2nd last time! The alcohol is a little expensive, as is the food, but as you don't have to pay entry into the quiz so you make it up there. A problem for non smokers is that the downstairs is strictly non smoking, but you only have to climb the stairs to find the plumes. The atmosphere is buzzing and it accommodates both young and old.

“Very Australian”

Great menu and service from the staff.
Good variety of beers also.
I was downstairs and it hot and stuffy, air con would help.

“Chilled but busy?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2012 via mobile

My girlfriend and I finished our tour in the Opera House and looked for somewhere for a quick coffee and maybe a bite. We stopped in, she got a fish and chips I got an all day breakfast. We followed with some coffees. All the food was excellent, the presentation was great and the service was perfect. The bar staff weren't persistent or in your face, but they'd look over a lot to check on everything. Coffees and tea were particularly good.

Thanks guys!

“True to it's roots”

Very cool little Aussie pup closer to the Opera House.

The range of tap beers isn't too great... but the food is solid good pub food (nice burgers).
