Planning a trip to Vienna? Do you want to enjoy it? Do yourself a favor and arrange ahead for a Trinitas Airport Transfer driver to meet you. I did and I am really glad I did. Vienna has good public transportation (starting with the CAT Train which I did not use), but it can't compare to having a Trinitas driver meet you with your name on a sign at the exit from customs.
Getting off the overnight flight from Washington Dulles Airport my wife and I were tired and had very little idea how to get around. Good friends who live in Vienna suggested spending a few more Euros for Trinitas rather than the CAT Train plus subway or a taxi. It was affordable luxury at 27 Euros each way to/from the Renaissance Vien Hotel, money well spent. The driver with his sign was already waiting when we came out of Customs. He guided us to the Baggage Claim and helped carry our luggage to the car (a Mercedes) parked not far from the door. He was pleasant, provided good conversation about the ride into the city in English, and was a civilized driver. My tired wife, who can be less than thrilled with travel, was very pleased.
When we reached the hotel, we arranged for transportation back to the airport for departure. Do this if you haven’t already done so before leaving home. Even if you have already requested transportation back to the airport, Trinitas can still advise a good time for pick-up. We followed their advice and left later than we thought would be necessary, and we had time before boarding our flight home, even after Customs and some confusion at check-in. This was without any delay leaving the hotel. Our driver was in the hotel lobby waiting for us when we left our room to depart.
Go to their web site and fill out the web form. If that doesn’t work for you, send complete information to their email address including date of arrival, airline and flight number, expected time of arrival (though they will watch for delays), number of passengers, your destination (hotel, etc.), your full name, and how you plan to pay. We used a credit card and the driver had the equipment for it.
