We stopped here for two nights. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist. Despite what she probably thought were really silly questions, she dealt with them with efficiency and good humour.
Ok, it doesn't look too much from the outside.. The lobby area is a bit plain...
But the rooms are cream comfortable and spacious for the budget. The bed was comfortable and the whole atmosphere of the room was very pleasant.
Being just over the road from the tram stop into the city was fantastic... Really really convenient!
Okay... It's not posh and isn't full of frills, but if you want a friendly comfortable place to base your exploring of Vienna, this has to be a consideration... Just avoid the expensive breakfasts!

I was at the Senator Hotel last Christmas in 2012. I was in love with Vienna but now I am a little bit disappointed by the schedule I guess... I understand they have theyr own traditions but it is a state full of tourists especially in that famous period. It is unacceptable to have all the stores closed in Christmas day.
The staff was ok but in the Christmas morning, I wished them Merry Christmas and they was like "oh yeah, to u too", not even a smile, nothing.
As a minus, you are not allowed to smoke anywhere, not even in the bar. We arrived at 9 pm and we were starving, we wanted to pay to eat at the restaurant but it was impossible.
No fridge in the room and the breakfast wasn't brilliant at all.
As a conclusion.. I will not come back to this Hotel and not in the christmas holidays in Vienna.

1st- we arrived into Vienna at around 9am and had to wait until 3pm for check in (they took our bags though so the staff did the best with what they had). We had arrived on a night train though so were extremely tired and wanted to have a quick nap before heading out for the day. A 3pm check in is a little late in my opinion...

Rooms are very nice- clean, large, modern. No problems at all apart from how weak the air con was...

Breakfast was good, but we were told that breakfast runs from 7 (i think they said) until 10, so we headed down just after 9:40, where our breakfast tickets were accepted but soon after us sitting down with drinks etc (it is a buffet), we were told that we didnt have long to eat as the room was closing at 10. We assumed that as long as we had our food by 10 (on the tables) we could finish it (as this is what most good hotels offer), this was not the case and we were rushed quite a bit.

Overall though a nice hotel and worth the cost.

We booked this hotel following reviews saying it was clean, friendly and staff helpful. It is clean but we did not find any of the staff helpful at all and wondered if it was just with us so watched them with other visitors and found that they were just as rude with them!!
The hotel is outside of Vienna, which means that it is cheaper, and you can park free in the side streets by the hotel which is a bonus. If you park in their underground parking you will pay an extra 12€ per night which is not necessary.
The rooms are comfortable and clean and are cleaned daily with fresh towels. Although on a main road with the tram running outside it is still relatively quiet.
The tram is really convenient and we used this to get in and out of Vienna city. Take the number 43 tram opposite the hotel.
I am registered disabled and hold a blue badge and if you have a vehicle you are able to park free in Vienna city centre.....just make sure that you park in the spaces that are not allocated to disabled people that live there (you will know this as the disabled parking sign will have a number with it, which is the badge number for the person).

Four nights, no problems. The room price was friendly for the wallet (reserved in the net and paid in full upon reservation) although it did not include the breakfast. We bought the breakfast in the first morning, and it was a good breakfast, nice restaurant, but then again the price was somewhat high after all. Go to any cafe and you pay just a little more for the same stuff. Go to the Lidl next door and you get all that stuff including owen fresh Austrian rolls for 1/3 price.

Staff is busy, and mostly very friendly and professional. There is a small bar adjoining the reception, but you might want just to take beer and soda at the vending machine - quite economic price there. Or go to Lidl, but beware, Austrians seem to close all shops early and not open them at all on Sunday.

Room was quite nice, nothing special. Hotel has good connections, if you don't mind changing the lines a few times. You shouldn't, it is easy.

The hotel's location is very good, close to tram, Chinese restaurant and a grocery store a few steps away. The hotel has an average size lobby that has a bar on the side. It's a modest but inviting and cozy lobby.

Staff is friendly, particularly the female front desk clerk. It just so happened she was inside attending to other issues when I had the chance to take this picture of the front desk staff. Sebastian is ok too and smiled when I took this picture.

I was very much impressed on how well the room my granddaughter and I stayed in. You walk in and immediately, it gives you that good feeling. The wall color is warm, the draperies cozy and the room feels large. The overall decor is crisp and lively. The carpet is clean and color is very vibrant. There is enough space to move around in the room. It just seems that each corner was put to good use. The closet was big enough and doesn't seem to take away from the room's space. As you walk into the bathroom, this same spacious feeling comes through. The shower door does not pull out, it folds without taking away space. The sink has good counter space. The beds are soft yet firm to provide you a goodnight's sleep.

Definitely a moderately priced hotel that offers great value for your money!!

Stopped 2 nights on a tour with a group. The staff were all excellent and very helpful. The rooms were good and very comfy beds. The breakfast was fairly ordinary with not too much choice but was adequate for us. The hotel is well positioned for travel into the centre of Vienna which took about 10 minutes on the tram.
