The hotel staff were very friendly and got me through the check in with no hassles. The hotel is new, bright and the room (king bed) was large, modern and very comfortable. The restaurant served an average lunch but only charged 7.5€ which seemed to be value for money. Breakfast had nice selection of cold cuts, breads, cereals with eggs made to order. The U2 rail station is across the street and convenient if you want to stay out of the bustle of downtown and commute via train. There is no real scenery other than office buildings. I had the highest floor room (8) overlooking the office building, but this did not detract from the room or the hotel. A solid business hotel with good staff.

Room Tip: Many rooms come with 2 single beds - request a king bed if available. Book early as this is a busy b...

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, attending a conference at the Messe Wien in early November 2012.

Location: For delegates attending an event at Messe Wien, this hotel is a great location. For everyone else who want to experience the sights of Vienna, the location is a bit of a hike outside the city centre - but nothing a €15 taxi ride can't cure.

Rooms: Very modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom with the necessary ammenities. Plenty of hangers in the closet as well as a full-sized iron & board.

Bar: Somewhat on the annonymous side and not really a place you'd enjoy frequenting apart from when you're waiting for a taxi/bus/etc to take you somewhere else.

Food - Breakfast is ample, of good selection and of high quality, suiting everyone's taste. Staff could be a bit better refilling the juice section as I found this to be empty a few mornings.

Food - Dinner/Bar/Room Service: Beware, the kitchen closes at 22:00 so you need to fill your tummy before that. There are no options apart from the "mini market next to reception" if you're hungry and need to eat. Several of my friends who stayed at the same time as me were caught out by this and had to go hungry to bed....

Pretty standard Marriott fare. Good for business travel as rooms are american sized, clean and you know what you are getting with a franchise hotel. Very good location if you have an event at the convention center. Otherwise, pretty remote and not a lot of food options. However, I was very favorably impressed with the clean and very efficient subway system. It was about a ten minute trip to downtown, no hassles. 2 Euro each way or even better get a 6.70 Euro day pass and use the subway for all your travel. No room service available. Restaurant reviewed separately.

The apt. we rented didn't have A/C and with temps. in the upper 90s, we needed to find a nice place FAST. The price was great when we stayed in July, it wasn't crowded, and the room was clean, comfortable, and modern.

The restaurant was very posh with amazing food and wonderful service. We chose to eat here rather than go elsewhere many times because we couldn't wait to try the next item on the menu!

The U Bahn is a very short walk away and it was maybe a 10 or 15 min. ride to Innerestadt. We've been to Vienna many times, so the distance from the city center didn't bother us, but if you're there to catch all the tourist attractions, I can understand wanting to stay a little closer.

We are considering this hotel for our next visit as well!

A nice hotel if you come for business purposes, from a touristic point of view, the hotel is far from the city center even so the subway can bring you there in 10mn.

The menu of the restaurant is poor, good quality but after one or two evenings you need to find another place and so to go to city center.

Can be improved

Very kind personnel, excelent food and wines, great wifi. Aways prompt service, good tip for near by restaurants and pubs. A bit too crouded depending on period of the year. Rooms are very clean. Internet access in the room and in the confference area with a very good speed.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on a quick side trip from Budapest and were very pleasantly surprised to find a brand new, modern hotel with decent sized rooms, particularly for Europe.

While it's not centrally located, it's very convenient to the U bahn...maybe a 3 minute walk? It's an easy u bahn ride from Westbanhof train station with a transfer point at Volkstheater stop.

It was a great plus to have workout facilities onsite and also with the proximity to Prater, lots of open spaces for running and getting in a workout. I plan on returning to Vienna again and will definitely return to this hotel.
