Stayed at the weekend for two nights as part of a group tour and enjoyed the facilities - best hotel of our tour. The hotel is largely geared to business guests and is well positioned very close to the Ubahn. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable and staff helpful. Breakfast at the hotel is an excellent buffet. There are two reasonable restaurants very close to the hotel - turn right out of the bar, over the little footbridge, then right for a few yards.
You can walk to the funfair at the Prater in about ten minutes. There are nearly 30 restaurants and bars there, and over 60 rides/games for children and adults. The Prater season is 15th March - 31 October. While we were there the Octoberfest was on, so hundreds of locals were strolling round in full 'folk' costumes - men in lederhosen and women in embroidered dresses.

I used the hotel for a business trip. Easy access to the U-Bann, but it is removed from the Central business district by 5 stops. The hotel is well maintained, staff is helpful and accommodating. All and all a good relaxed environment. Room are spacious and well maintained.

I was in this hotel for three nights. My boyfriend had been staying the week prior to compete in a chess tournament nearby. We choose the hotel, primarily, for its convenience to the chess tournament venue. It is certainly not "close" to the main attractions in Vienna, but it is by no means a difficult trip into the city center. The metro is very easy and only a block away. We walked through the park and into downtown Vienna one day. It took about 15 minutes by metro and 45 minutes to walk into the city center.

This area of town does offer other, very cool attractions nearby. I spent time in the park and the amusement park as well. You can rent bikes and the roads appear to be mostly shut down to traffic. It felt very similar to Central Park in New York.

The hotel itself was clean, with large rooms. It is an eco-friendly hotel, so in the middle of August it got extremely hot in the rooms. We had the AC running full blast during our stay and were just unable to cool the room down. At night we could open the windows, but it didn't help much.

If you are in town for business, a football game or a horse race, the location of this hotel is ideal. If you are comfortable with public transport and/or walking some distances, this hotel is also a good choice.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Check in was fast. This hotel is not near the city center but the Ubahn, just a couple of minutes' walk from hotel is very convenient. Buy a 24, 36 or 72 hr pass that allows you unlimited access to most public transportation. Takes just minutes to get to where you want to. Subways are safe and clean. There is a Spar (convenience store) a few steps from the Ubahn and there are stores in the Ubahn as well for last minute goodies or necessities. The hotel room has a small refrigerator that is empty and also has a small "shop" in the lobby, so snacks are not a problem. Rooms: large. Beds: comfortable Airconditioning: not great but windows can be opened Bathroom: small, some with showers and some with bathtubs. Cleaning service: good but no the best.

Breakfast buffet was good. Area most of the time crowded. Queue for coffee machine. Must ask staff for egg preference and this takes a while to be ready. Restaurant has limited menu, sometimes they run out of "choices". Pumpkin soup is very good.

This is a business hotel, seems to be always busy with seminars and conferences. Reception staff not very friendly. NO FREE WiFI, expensive rates for this.

On the whole, it is a good hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Good place to unwind. Would recommend if given a good rate.

Room Tip: Apparently corner rooms have more windows. One side of the hotel has construction outside, actually not that noisy but if you are fussy, then inquire when you make your reservation.

We are on holiday for 2 weeks traveling central Europe. Now let me say by way of disclaimer, I am a lifetime Marriott Platinum, and I have made a living out of staying in M properties and know what good service looks like. We used points for this stay and it's a great value. When I made the reservation I asked for a roll-away for our teenager and when I checked in I was assured it was in the room. After getting to room we were put in a smaller King room with no room for a roll-away. I went back downstairs and explained the situation and they moved us to a bigger room and brought the roll-away.

Beds a little hard by US Courtyard standards there were only two pillows. Room was ultramodern with NFS door (no slot to insert key, the door just scans your card) including the slot by the door where you have to insert your key to get lights to turn on in the room. Lots of plugs and large work desk.

I would discourage anyone from coming in the back way by the theme park as that is where the ladies of evening work and they wear very clothing. The teenage son was smiling and the wife was shocked.

Room Tip: I don't think there is a bad room or view in the place.
