This hotel is basic and if all you are after is a clean bed for the night and somewhere to keep you belongings then this is fine. Anything more and you'll be very disappointed.
I stayed there last October when traveling for a long weekend with 5 friends. When we reached the hotel, it was fairly busy at the small check-in counter so it did take a while to get seen to. When checking in, we were informed that despite booking 3 twin rooms only 1 of the rooms was going to be a twin and the other two were doubles. This wasn't a problem for our group, but maybe wouldn't suit all groups. As we'd arrived early, the hotel were happy to provide secure place for us to leave our luggage for the day.
Upon gaining access to our room, my friend and I who were sharing the twin room, were very bemused to find that our shower cubicle was effectively in the corner of the room (as you entered the room) and had a clear glass door! So limited privacy...We obviously had a separate toilet/hand basin. The room itself was small, two clean single bed (the mattresses were a bit soft so not ideal for me personally) a wardrobe with hanging rail and storage space in the corner. As this would be classed as a budget hotel, it does not come with tea/coffee making facilities or hairdryers. The former not really an issue, but the latter a catastrophe for us ladies - lucky two of us had packed our own! The room was also quite warm so we opted to open the windows (we were on an upper floor) but noise intrusion was quite bad, mainly due to a brass band practicising in the yard below. Breakfast came as part of the package and was typical continental style so you'd find something to suit most. Other facilities were a lounge area with big screen TV and a small bar.
Upon checking out, process was simple and again the hotel was happy to store our luggage whilst we went out for the day (we had a late flight)
Location: Ideal location as you are only a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station which provides easy access to the city.
I'd stay here again (in fact the girlfriends I travelled with last year are using it for another visit later this year), as it was ideal as a base for a city break when you spend most of your time out and about exploring the city and surrounding areas.
Summary: budget price = budget hotel on that basis I'd recommend to a friend if their trip was on the above basis. I wouldn't recommend for a romantic getaway or if you were planning to spend any amount of time in the hotel itself.
