Great food, we stayed in a hotel not far from this restaurant and I can really recommend it. I had the wienerscjhnitzel made of veel really great taste and a nice potato sallad to go along with it. I also got lingonberry on the side and that was simply very nice the whole dish.

The food is traditional Austrian, but with some very original touches, using high quality ingredients. Everything arrived freshly made on the table, including (warm out of the oven) an absolutely fabulous and perfectly spiced Tarte au chocolat.
The small restaurant is young, spartan cool. The only big problem were several chain smokers on the next tables.

One of the best places I know in Vienna. It is cheap, and food is awesome. They have austrian dishes. The atmosphere is not so good, but it is part of its charm.

We walked over to Finkh from the Das Tyrol hotel on our first night in Vienna. It was the perfect way to ease into our sightseeing week. It's a very relaxed neighborhood place- We were the only tourists. The decor is very simple- black and white and mismatched chairs. The English-speaking waiter was very friendly and helpful and he suggested we try the schnitzel, goulash, spaetzel and apple strudel. We had some very nice Austrian wine. The food was excellent and we really liked the quiet and pleasant atmosphere.

Firstly, it is not difficult to find, just take the U-bahn U4 to Pilgramg.straße and it is a 10 mins walk. It is a good start before Naschmarkt, which is the next U-bahn station or a short break from shopping in the Mariahilfestraße The food was excellent and please don´t forget the chocolate dessert, it is worth the 15 mins wait. Don´t be put off by the ´different´ interior design and the price is decent.
