I telephoned this hotel to ask about availability for a two night stay. I spoke to the lady owner, she checked her book for me and said that they had a free room, which I booked and confirmed by email. I received my confirmation email back. Everything was set, a week went by someone called Knoell emailed me to say that there had been a mistake, they no longer had a room free and I was cancelled.
There is little doubt in my mind that someone else came along who wanted to book a longer stay than me, so they bumped me out. This very poor practice should be discouraged, which is why I’m posting this review. When hotels do this to you, you have less time to find a new room and now many of the other hotels I could have booked are also full. It's a very poor practice.
If you book a week here you’re probably ok, but if you only want a couple of days or less, you might be let down if they get a better offer.More
