I went 4 nights with my friend and I was disappointed about the atmosphere of the hostel. It's more an hotel than an hostel: for example, there is no kitchen (impossible to cook or even eat something in the hostel at night).
You have to pay for everything (locker, towel, soap...)
The staff is ok but not helpfull and not friendly enough to feel confortable to ask for informations.

But I have to say that rooms are very clean and the breakfast is good.

me and 3 friends stayed here for 2 nights in february.I must say to begin that the place is cleaner than a 5 star hotel!the location isn t the best but the subway is very close so the entire city is practicly at your feet!the staff are very proffecional and happy to answear all your questions.the only disadvantage is that the breakfast is rather poor and that it hasn t got a "character" and does not encurage guests to socialise whith each other which is a shame because it has one of the best common areas I ve seen in a hostel.

Room Tip: the rooms at the top floors are the best

My boyfriend and I had a few problems with this hostel. Firstly there was only about 10-15 people staying there at the same time as us. It is a big hostel therefore there was no atmosphere. We could clearly see where they had placed everyone in dorms due to the deposits left in the pigeon holes. They had put everyone into about 4 different dorms. The dorms are nowhere as big enough to fit the amount of people and their luggage. Receptionist very unfriendly.

Stayed with a friend in a shared room with private bathroom. It's easy to reach hostel by metro (5-7 min of walk, then 10 min. drive to Stefansdom) or tram. There are a couple of shops not far, but no good places to go out - so be ready to drive to the center. It's possible to park nearby the hostel and don't pay anything or pay for parking in the hostel. The stuff was not really friendly but still helpful. Room was clean, though maybe it's a coincidence - for the 3 days we stayed no one cleaned it. The area is really quite so no problem with sleep. Breakfast was good enough to start a day for the money you pay. There is no kitchen or fridge that can be used by guests in the hostel, so don't buy anything you cannot eat the same day. Overall, close to the center and good value for the money.

I stayed for two nights in this hostel, the common area is nice and provides free wireless Internet, which is a plus in this area. Since I was travelling by car, staying really close to town is not always an option, since most hotels dont have parking spaces, and parking on the street is free only after 18h. This hostel has a private parking for €15 a night, but at least the car is safe. Breakfast is limited as in most hostels, but you get the essencial to start the day. The hostel is not really close to town, but the excellent public transportation gets you there in just 7 minutes. Really helpful staff, the give you detailed directions and advices. I can say that I dislike the room size, there is only space for the beds and a table, plus the bathroom is separated (????????)

This hostel was good although the location proved slightly troublesome as the metro was broken which made it a bit harder to get into the city center. Thankfully all the trams worked so wasn't too much of a problem. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good too. The common room was a good place to go and we managed to catch a bit of the olympics and meet some other guests. I would recommend this hostel.

At first it's a little bit hard to find the Hostel, but after, you can see that is quite easy to get on the tram line. It's approximately 15min on the tram line until the city center. A nice lounge/living room, beds were OK. I paid around 18€/night
+ Amazing breakfast (Included)
+ Safe luggage room
- The room lockers require a very unique locker (Which if you want you have to BUY in the reception)
- Rooms/bathroom were not very clean
- You have to take your sheets to your room, make your bed and when you check out bring the sheets back to the reception
