This little restaurant is tiny and cosy, and the food is delicious.
Not too much choise, made by the cook in an open kitchen with fresh ingredients.
Surprising combinations and friendly service, good wine.
The best restaurant of our visit in Vienna

“Tiny little gem of French culinaria hidden in Wien”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

I am returning to this place as often as I could and sometime not as often as I really wanted. The concept is great and could get the place many awards, should they ever be hunting for one. Luckily they are reasonable and just enjoy making great food so mortals can still get great food for more than reasonable fares. I've witnessed its evolution over 3 years and last time I've been there the only noticeable change was that all wines were Austrian. Nothing really bad about that just that I got used to my Corbieres :).
Food - few choices, using very fresh local ingredients and the savoir-fair of the french cuisine. Nothing to say there - excellent in all counts. Sweets - minimum choice but one stands out in front of the others and that is the fresh goat cheese served with brioches and lavender honey. Just for that one could change his plane ticket...
I enjoy seeing how food is made and this place is set around the small cuisine so you get to see it all, just another extra point from my side. Service is friendly and in the owner speaks also French - it is a pleasure to be greeted by her.
I will definitely come back.

“Good food let down by manageress service”

Nice decor good atmosphere. High quality French food only let down by the manageress serving manner which is bordering on rude.

“Nice little place; food only average”
Reviewed March 1, 2010

This is a small place with surprisingly bad service for the size. Food is OK, but there are better choices.
