“Very good hotel with excellent friendly staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

This was just for an one night stopover while travelling through Austria, since all hotels in the area are competitively priced. The property is a few miles away from the small centre of Feldkirch, but since this time we had a car, this was no problem with ample parking available. Being in Feldkirch means you have Lake Constance (Bodensee), the Alps, Switzerland and Lichtenstein (if you really must visit...) all within close proximity.

Rooms are nice, slightly Scandinavian looking and did their job for one night. One thing I can say is that the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and warm, particularly reception and the bar. I have heard the more west of Austria you go the friendlier the people, well you can not get more west than Feldkirch! It was a good balance from the staff from being friendly and helpful, without being pretentious or over-the-top.

Breakfast was fine, a huge buffet laid out in a very large breakfast area. It seems the hotel is used frequently by coach parties from the night I was there and the reviews on here.

Not much else to say since as stated we were only here for one night, but it made a good enough impression to consider returning if we ever return to the area.

i have been to a lot of hotels in the area (Mercure in Bregenz, Martinspark Dornbirn, Alpenrose and Holiday Inn Feldkirch), but this hotel has some big advantages for the demanding business traveler. It is conveniently located near all major highway (to Germany and Switzerland), has free parking in front of the hotel, spacious and clean rooms, very stylish but not cold interior design.
Great staff at the front desk!
The only downside is the breakfast.

Room Tip: Book online and go for the room with panoramic view.

Stayed for five days as part of a coach tour of Austria, the hotel is a little far from town centre unless you like a long walk, but there is a local bus service. The receptionist and staff at the hotel were first class, friendly and helpful.

Booking in and room assignment was handled by the coach drivers, so just took our own luggage up to room as only few bags so it was easier for us. The room we had was on the third floor, it was clean and modern, with a nice walk in shower in the bathroom, plenty of lamps for a range of lighting. Room had outside blinds that could be lowered to keep light out, great view of the snow covered mountains out of the windows. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Breakfast and dinner were served in the main dinning room, breakfast was excellent with a selection of fresh fruit, chopped fruit, cereals, meats and cheeses, baked products, eggs and a range of coffees.

Dinner was were they lost one star, consisting of a starter, soup of the day, main meal and desert. The main meal was one out of three choices, selected through a colour card system, the system itself seemed to work quite well but the actual meal let it down.
I had the impression that the majority of them were assembled from processed food, rather than fresh, either that or they have developed a way to make them look and taste like processed food.
The choices sometimes were a bit odd, one night it was a choice between pork with mustard sauce, pork with curried sauce, or cheese omelette.
Sweets again seemed to have been assembled, icecream with a dollop of cream and chocolate sauce, fruit cocktail, unfortunately not a fresh apple strudel in sight.

The food would keep you going, but it didn't match up with any of the Austrian meals we had when out and about, or with the food that other people had experienced on other trips to Austria.

Room Tip: From what I saw, third floor rooms seem to be fairly modern, forth floor are the most modern with sm...

We stayed here for four nights as members of a coach party. The hotel is spacious, clean, superb rooms and excellent food facilities, even for vegetarians. The friendliness of the staff was above average and we were always greeted with a smile. Highly recommended

Room Tip: 212 was very good

Made very welcome on arrival.Reception area clean and nicely decorated.Spacious room, comfy bed.Bottle of water was not complimentary ,quite a surprise.plenty of choice for breakfast.Evening meals had to be chosen after breakfast ,but as most guests appeared to be coach trips as we're we I guess it made catering easier.Allin all no complaints.

We arrived early evening with a warm greeting from reception; our rooms were allocated on the coach, which left us to proceed straight to our rooms.
Our baggage was unloaded and delivered within a short period of time this was a real treat, which set us up for the rest of our stay.
We had allocated seating in the restaurant 5 tables to choose from and the menu selection was well organised, Salad every evening, various Soups during our stay, then a choice of 3 main meals which you selected by a card system 1 to 3 which denoted what main course you preferred.
This worked very well and the standard was top class with a sweet to follow and then coffee added to an excellent end of the day.
Our room was exceptional, warm with very comfortable beds and a bathroom with walk in shower, which was clean and luxurious.
All the doors were of the sliding type, which gave a feeling of spacious luxury, we had sufficient storage space and enough power points and lamps to either have bright or slightly dimmed light.
Always a friendly smile and nothing seemed too much trouble to accommodate our frequent requests; we did have two nights of entertainment one with traditional Austrian dancing which did encourage some guests participating which added to the evening.
Our last morning we were waved off by the staff and we were each presented with a hotel face towel as a parting gift.
This family run hotel did provide us with a truly great stay and would recommend anyone staying there as long as you can mix in with a number of coach parties from different countries.

Room Tip: Level four had a small balcony and was high enough not to hear any traffic, requesting a back room w...

Just returned from a Winter Wonderland adventure stayed in Weisses Kreuz hotel which was clean and comfortable we also had a balcony which was a bonus, the staff are friendly and helpful.
As a non meat eater the dinners are limited, but I ask for some chips and the chef cooked them for me.
When we left some of the staff waved goodbye, which was nice .
Would stay in this hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony.
