Great location for ski vacation in Kitzbuhel. Quick walk to town, but far away enough to be quiet and private. Right on the slopes, unfortunately we arrived just too late in spring and had a 500 meter walk to the snow. If you are coveting a ski-in, ski-out setup, this is it, but go during prime of winter. Awesome ski storage in hotel, great handling of rentals, able to buy lift tickets at front desk! This is not a slick, international business hotel, it is very traditional and has its own warm Austrian personality. Rooms are huge, plenty of room to spread out. Walk to train station is nice, also means you will hear the train if you face away from the mountain toward town. And the fresh orange juice machine is pure magic.

Room Tip: balcony rooms facing the mountain are in short supply, reserve early!

If you are going to Kitzbuhel, this is far and away the best place to stay. Signe will ensure that you have a magnificent stay and her staff is always attentive and striving to please the patrons.

Breakfast is a lovely spread with many options. I particularly recommend the fresh orange juice machine. We frequented the bar for apres-ski and well as a night cap before bed. The bartenders are always attentive and the bar is very cozy.

You walk right out the door, strap on your skis and glide down to the Hannenkahm gondola for a ride up the mountain for some spectacular skiing. At the end of the day, cruise down the mountain and stop at the door and take your skis and boots into the heated rack room, complete with boot warmers. Could not be more convenient.

Room was nice and large, with great views of the slopes. Not the greatest insulation, so expect a bit of noise. But generally everything is quiet after 10:00.

Typical for Europe, no hot tub for relaxing in after your day on the slopes. There is a nice pool, sauna, steam room, etc. facility. But would really be nice to soak in a hot tub and have a beer (and/or cigar) after a long day skiing.

I can guarantee that on our return to Kitzbuhel, we will be staying with Signe at the Rasmushof again!

One of the best places to be in the mountains of Europe!
The chief director and manager lady from the owner family Reisch, MRS. SIGNE REISCH is your special host in her very unique and friendly way. In the early morning while everybody still is sleeping, she checks and prepares everything at the hotel and restaurant, then she takes her skis, makes every morning two runs at the best and wellknown downhillrace slope STREIF (insider know, that SHE is the QUEEN of STREIF...) then she jumps out of her skioutfit in her special nice Tirolian clothes and goes on with the work at the hotel and restaurant. Hotel Rasmushosf is well knwon for its special events and the unique decoration at Christmas, Easter and all year round. Mrs. Signe Reisch is full of great ideas and is able to bring everything to success with hear special art of hard working but also with a lot of warm-hearted feelings. Take a chance to get to know this amazing place surrounded by skislops, a special vegtabel and flower garden and golfcourt, and get in touch with the QUEEN OF STREIF herself. This is really worth it!
Thanks for all those unforgettable moments at your place. ugö

Room Tip: every room is unique!

Very traditional and quaint, great service from all the staff who are all friendly and helpful.
The ski in, ski out access is great but relies on good snow. The food is hearty and of a good standard, exactly what you need after a days skiing. All in all this hotel offers a good location and a lovely all round get away with good value for money. Thank you for a lovely stay.
