This is the place to go for a very nice ski trip. The pistes are very nice, the lifts are modern and comfortable, and even if there is lot of wind or snow it is a very good place to go.
Hello Nicohoog1,
Thank you very much for your great feedback, we are really happy you enjoyed your skiing trip to Kitzbühel and hope we will soon see you again in the skiing area of KitzSki ... or maybe also once in summer for hiking? :-)

What stunning views and great walks. It was very exciting going up in the chair lift when at one point you were going up vertically
Hello Gail T,
thank you very much for the great feedback, we hope to welcome you back soon in out beautiful nature.
Yours KitzSki Team
We had a pass for the various cablecars - well worth it. The views from the top are amazing, as were the walks we did.

system has been very good organized. It was very nice Kitz ski experience for us with modern lift system; safe, fast lifts, confortable heated seats...
some of them has kidstop...
Hello Saffary,

Is there anything we can do to improve in your eyes (since you only rated us with 4 out of 5 points :-) )

This is my first review of a ski domain and hopefully my last. Had Kitzski been my first ski experience in Austria, I would never have returned. Infrastructure is good, slopes are well signalled, nothing negative from this point of view. At the end of the season maps were not available in English (doh, I know a map is map, but apparently there is also a small print, I will get to that later), information on the ski card is only in German, more than half of the domain was closed and, according to whether you had small children or not, you had to run from one end of the domain to the other to find a beginner area. Tough luck, my 4 yo daughter cannot ski up in the mountains so here I go with her to the Pass Thurn tunnel conveyor belt one day, because Jochberg was closed. The lady in the booth starts yelling something in German at me and almost drags me to her booth, where she starts showing me pictures of my husband and myself, asking, apparently (my Deutsch is somewhat limited), to whom does the ski card belong (yelling that zere is a picture of a man, of a man!!!) and where it was bought. Since that man was my husband and since we were together when I had bought it, I just happened to know the answers to her questions. No way, she starts yelling again that zis is a man, zis is a man!!! (showing a picture when the card was bought), and I try to tell her, yes, but the lady near ze man, ze man!!! is gracefully yours. No way. Just to find out, after being literally interrogated, that, although the card is not nominal and does not have a picture, it is not transmittable (nicht uber//something//). I am pretty sure that there are nicer ways of conveying this information. OK, interrogation was over and we got on top of Pass Thurn, and the conveyor lift was not working. Just like that. After two brave rounds of carrying my daughter and her skis up the slope, I gave up and went down with the cable car. I stopped at the information desk to say look, your beginner lift is not working, I came all the way here because it was marked as working on your website, why do you do this to people? I got an angry look from a lady who told me it is closed for the season and I can go to Kitzbuhel somewhere. No apology, nothing. There was someone up there who bought a day's pass (some 45 EUR) just to accompany his child to that conveyor slope and I am pretty sure he never got his money back. Well, surprise, the next day it was marked on their website that the conveyor is working. I didn't have the guts to go check :) So, two options: either they don't give a damn, or they just don't give a damn. As long as they cash in.
Hello TravelMok,
first of all we want to deeply apologize for the negative experience you've lived. Please be sure that this is not the way we treat / want our guests to be treated and we absolutely do give a damn about every single guest of us. In this time of the season (middle of April) many lifts and parts of the infrastructure are already closed due to lack of snow, warm temperatures or simply the lack of request. However this is not an excuse for any inpolite or rude behaviour by any stuff and we absolutely do not accept / support it. We hope you are willing to accept our honest apologies, even if the problem may be occured due to too little language skills (english) of our staff.
Can you please tell us exactly when this incident took place an at which cash desk so we can find out who is responsible for it. Of course it can happen that you mixed up the personalized skicards with your husband and our staff has to check it but it has to be communicated appropriate not like in your case.
Concerning the informations on our website, they are updated every couple of minutes and feeded by the official information about which Trck and which lifts are open. The cnoveyer belt G11 at Resterkogel was open until Saturday 7th but closed on sunday the 8th, may I ask on which day you were up there?
Once again we want to mention, that satisfying customer service is our highest priority and we want to treat every guest in the highest possible way. We are sending you the very best wishes and all the best for your family. Best regards, yours KitzSki Team
Modern lift system. Comfortable heated seats. Safety is paramount. Some chairs (frequented by the kids ski schools) even have "kidstop" to make sure little kids can't slide off the seat.
Comparing Kitz with Tignes. Tignes has antiquated and slow lifts. The speed of the Kitz lifts means it is possible to ski further and cover more altitude in a week than Tignes. I have compared my Ski Tracks data for consecutive trips to the two resorts (both peak February). I ski, more in Kitz!
Hello PSm_UK
thank you very much for the feedback, we are proud to hear you enjoyed the modernity and high quality standards of our lifts.
We hope to welcome you back to Kitzbühel soon. All the best, yours KitzSki Team
