We never got to eat here, but the comic 9and unsuccessful)experience of trying to book a table, spread over 4 days, is worth mentioning.
We were in Kitz over the last week of December 2010. First time I called, I was told that there was no table for six, I then clarified that we would accept 4+2, but, they were booked. I was told to call again next day. I did, and I was told that there was not table, but they would call me back. (this is during a ski holiday, so here I was wondering how am I going to answer a call in the middle of a run). We agreed that I would call. I did, and again no tables! They insisted that they will call me. Ok. Next day there was no call, and then, on our next to last day, when we were in Salzburg, they called at 6.30 to say they had a table! Did they think I was waiting around for a table, a day AFTER they were supposed to call back?! I asked if there was a table for next night, and got a negative!
Anyway, it was a funny, but a bit frustrating experience. I had no trouble getting tables in the other very good restaurrants in Kitz.
