The service at this restaurant is really horrible. The waiter was very rude. When we tried to pay by credit card and leave, he harassed us to pay cash. The food did not make up for the bad service. The taste was below average with cheap ingredients.

After I witnessed a man behind the counter completely disrespect two female employees (including the chef), I was both uncomfortable and frankly irritated. Then, unfortunately I read other reviews about him doing that before. The quality of the food doesn’t matter if that is the atmosphere you get.

Appalling service from the middle aged waiter. Came in to a virtually empty restaurant on a Saturday night with a larger group at 8pm. The waiter hastily notified us that we could only order from the ‘main dishes’ section because they were closing soon and there wouldn’t be enough time for Hien to prepare and for us to finish our meals before the 9pm closing time. Funnily enough, a take away order and two groups of 3 diners each came in 10 minutes before close and he was happy enough to serve them.

Asked for an English menu, he replies “I only have two” - which we were never given. Upon reading the Austrian menu, we had some questions to ask as we couldn’t translate the menu to which he responds in a snappy, impatient tone. Really poor customer service on his behalf and made our group feel quite uncomfortable. When ordering drinks, someone in our party requested for tap water - his reply “we don’t have tap water”, to which I turn my head to the kitchen and see the chef washing vegetables in what?... a kitchen sink! Apart from feeling very unwelcome, the waiter was also incapable of processing a simple request for an extra bowl, instead deciding to give a little lecture on why he shouldn’t give us a bowl because you’re supposed to eat it on a plate.

Surely you would be ecstatic with 16 diners in 3 separate groups coming through your otherwise barren restaurant to perk up revenue well before and right before closing but this guy clearly wasn’t having it.

The only positive feedback I can give is that the food came out at the same time. Taste and quality - well under average. Not sure how you can put up a TripAdvisor certificate up on your wall when your waiter is clearly not tourist friendly. Definitely a low-light from our trip to Innsbruck.

We came for dinner in a large group of 10 after struggling to find restaurants to cater for our party size on a Saturday night. That should have been the warning sign.

I had the rice with duck which was dry and not very flavored. No spoon was available and eating rice with chopsticks is not exactly ideal. Quite a number of us had the bun with spring rolls. It was served on a plate with only lettuce and vermicelli to marginally meet the salad criteria. No other typical vietnamese herbs were on offer. One of us had asked for bowls to eat the salad as oppose to the plate. The austrian middle aged manager/waiter refused this for reasons unknown. He seemed adamant that vietnamese people eat this on a plate. He also took this opportunity to educate my vietnamese friend that you do not poor fish sauce over your bun. Because thats not how vietnamese people do it.

As a final note, none of us dared to try the Pho given that pak choi and tofu was listed as part of the ingredients. I wouldnt necessarily call this place vietnamese but an assortment of asian cooking that manages to tip slightly into the vietnamese area.

The manager (?) was very friendly and that's why this review gets two stars. Unfortunately, the food was flavourless with none of the fresh and strong flavours Vietnamese food usually has.

We ordered two different dishes - a pho and a salad - and what we got were two bland, oily stir-fires with mushy overcooked vegetables. No fresh lime, chili or coriander. The only condiments available were sriracha sauce and soy sauce; no fish sauce or non-sugary chili was available either.

A shame as again, the staff were very nice and it looked like they used fresh ingredients.
