I totally agree with all the reviews. A little bit of repairs and maintenance would be a good idea, (in bathroom) but location perfect, friendly staff and unique. The guide from the tourist info centre was great as well. Very informative and a real love for her city.

This is actually an apartment above a bakery in Innsbruck city centre and is owned by the same people who own the bakery. I stayed during ski season with a friend in a private room. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and is served downstairs in the bakery cafe and consists of coffee, bread rolls, jam, cornflakes and usually some kind of cake. The owners are really nice and helpful. If you want to stay here you will have to reserve by phone. They aren't on any of the usual hostel booking sites and they don't appear to answer email.

On the downside, the owners leave at about 7 or 8pm when they close the cafe so you may have problems checking in after that. The only common area is the kitchcen and there's no wi-fi or internet. Although there are plenty of cafe's and bars in Innsbruck that do free wi-fi.

I stayed here for 2 nights, and I really enjoyed it. I checked in at the cafe, then a very friendly lady took me to my room and told me all I needed to know. She spoke excellent English, as did the people in the cafe.

The actual hostel is in different apartments, with the bedrooms leading off of the main bit. The bathroom was really clean with a powerful shower and a hairdryer, and there's a kitchen stocked with pasta, rice, coffee and tea which you can help yourself to. The room itself was perfectly big enough, with some storage space and a table and chairs. Lockers were provided, and although they weren't massive they were plenty big enough for all my valuables. There were also nice touches like a sweet on my bed when I arrived, a towel and shampoo, as well as there being spare towels and shampoo in the bathroom. In the kitchen there were maps and leaflets and suggestions from the owners on what to see and where to eat etc.

Breakfast was served in the cafe, and it was amazing! You get coffee, tea or hot chocolate, two rolls with two types of jam and nutella, cornflakes, and a cake from the cafe!

Finally, the location is very central; you're about a 15 minute walk from the train station, and right in the middle of the old town which is where all the sights are.

Great little hostel in the old town section of Innsruck. Shared the 4 bed dorm with Germans and we went out for the night together. The place is clean, comfy, and provides a great breakfast in their cafe below. Breakfast included coffee, rolls, cereal, and cake! I believe it was only 25 Euros. Only downfall is that there is no wifi, but there was the McDonald's and pubs nearby providing it for free. Didn't use the kitchen, but it looked comfortable and functional. Would def. stay here again! For 1 nt, being in the center of town is where you should stay.

I stayed in Nepomuks hostel for just one night in mid september. The hostel is in the centre of magical Innsbruck and is located on the first floor, right above a famous coffee place called Munding Cafe. The hostel is very clean and well kept, there are two private rooms (25 euros per person) and a big living room which has been turned into a dorm. Our room was simple (IKEA furniture) but clean and cozy. The bathroom and toilet were right outside which was comfortable however the toilet lacks privacy as it is attached to the bathroom with a thin wall and no ceiling. The place is really nice and the location is great however the walls are thin and you can hear every single thing. The electrical kettle and tea is a nice touch. Breakfast is included in the price and is in the coffee place downstairs but i would NOT recommend having it there. The coffee was awful and we were served some pieces of cake from the previous day. If you want great breakfast go to Der Backer Ruetz, just round the corner. All in all it is a nice place to stay and it has a friendly feel to it.

Room Tip: If you want to have more privacy don't choose the 'Karl' private room which is just in f...

We enjoyed our stay at Nepomuk's and do recommend it. It's got a GREAT location, wonderful owners, a nice breakfast (at the bakery downstairs) and is very quiet with large rooms and a well-appointed kitchen.

It doesn't get five stars though because it really needs some remodeling and renovation. The shower was pretty awful. It's broken and has very little water pressure and the enclosure is cracked and the shower curtain is dirty and stick to you. I hope they just install a new shower enclosure. That's absolutely necessary. Otherwise, while the rest of the place could also use a renovation, it's perfectly fine.... clean, functional, just fine.

I liked Nepomuk's and do recommend it, but be warned that the shower is pretty nasty.
